Bisons. I like the way they move and they are a typical zoo animal (nothing to special, just a herbivore thats constantly chewing). Recently, I have also grown very fond of elks and Rhinos.
What are your favorite animals that you use in every zoo?

I'm not sure, because it's changed.
Before, it was the southern cassowary. I loved those sounds it'd do.
But now, I'm not sure.

- American alligator - can't build a North American zoo without it
- Red fox - my 2nd favorite canine, but with all the colormorphs, how could I not use it?
- Raccoon - just, no need to explain
The first animals I always put in my franchise zoo are the tigers

American Alligator. Partly because they're relatively cheap, interesting ones are usually available on the market, and it's an easy early habitat that I can make look decent without spending a lot (no hard shelter requirement). The other reason is because I've always enjoyed seeing the alligators around the central Florida waterways. (It bothers me that there's no tropical zoo zone in Florida in the game because I have to either have a Florida zoo that gets a lot of snow or a tropical "Florida Zoo" no where near Florida.)
I always have at least 2 species of bear - sometimes I go all out and have all of them in the same zoo. The brown bears look a bit like waddling potatoes, but I just can't resist bears.
I normally have at least one of the deer, too. The red deer model in particular is gorgeous.
