I took about a 6 week break from the game and last night installed the latest drivers for my 1080, reinstalled the new HCS Astra voice pack and plugin, installed an x52 pro setup that a fine cmdr just made and oh my cow, game looks great way better than when i hung it up 6 weeks ago granted I am on the Beta but wow this looks and functions great. Very pleasantly surprised.

Maybe a little of both but wow I am pleasantly surprised. I did not change any of my settings so that is really a relief must have had them set pretty good. Seriously though i was flying around a ringed planet tonight in Xihe and was amazed at what i was seeing as it did not look like that 6 weeks ago

Also the 2.2.03 patch introduced dithering for vr decreasing banding and smoothing colour transitions.
