Interacting Galaxies Arp 274

Arp 274 is a system of three galaxies that appear to be partially overlapping. Two of the galaxies are rapidly forming new stars, evident in the bright blue knots strung along the arms of the galaxy on the right and along the small galaxy on the left.

Huh, interesting. According to them on May 9th in 2008 it saw this. Red spots of Jupiter. Unfortunately I can't select a year. Would be interesting to see what it saw on my actual day of birth. It's been in service for nearly a year by then.

Selecting a year wouldn't have been any use to me, as I pre-date Hubble by a couple of decades. Nasa was still in the middle of the Apollo program when I was born. For my birthday they chose the year 2012 and a picture of stars in the galactic core.
