What did I do wrong? Ship goes to full throttle on every chance it gets since today

Be it a high wake jump or a simple approach to a station, the ship always goes to full force the moment it comes into the session.
The Supercruise computer even masseges "Hyperjump Dethrottle Engaged", but the ship goes full suicidemode into the star, as if I turned off dethrottling.

You probably have the throttle axis mapped to a device that forces it at 100%. Clear the axis binding, work only with keys and see if it fixes the problem.

At the moment I play with a Xbox One controller with the standard configuration (Increase Throttle -> RB; Decrease Throttle -> LB)
I did not change the config since forever, since I am not a fan of the games "binding game".

Occasionally when playing for extended periods I will start coming out of (both) stellar jumps and cruise with the throttle set to full power. When jumping into a new star system this will cause my ship to throttle into the star.
Upon getting this annoying effect I close the application and restart, which always fixes the problem.

Well, some bug with SC. I had that for 1-2 weeks somewhen, then it stopped. Point is, stop is done by SC module, if you remove it - ship will keep fly after jumps.
Try usual trick of no-sc players, when 4-3-2-1 starts -> 0 throttle. You should exit to star with 0 speed.
Maybe try remove then install back SC module.

This works for me too. Even using a PC and just a mouse + keyboard doesn't make you immune. And this happens to me early when playing.

Yeah, I started the game tody and the behaviour has stoped. It works as intended now. Thanks for the tip.

My regular wingmate and I have noticed some weird going on of late. A couple of weeks ago I was mining in my Type 9. Every time - over several sessions in the Rings - I'd enter the instance, pick an asteroid to target and fire a Prospector at it. I'd then approach the asteroid (assuming it was good) and get ready to mine. At this point my ship would choose to engage boost, seeing me ramming that first asteroid. It'd not do it again that entire mining session, though I'd leave my Cargo Hatch open until leaving the rings, which would have blocked boosting of course.

My friend also randomly sees his ships boost by themselves, with his though it's just randomly during combat and not as regular as my bizaire situation in the rings. He also has other random things happen, like his ship engaging FSD, deploying landing gear etc. We're not sure what's going on, ghost inputs from hsi HOTAS or a weird game gremlin. He has issue far more often than me.

Scoob.

I have this effect every now and again, keeps you on your toes. But usually a relog fixes it, or if not a reset and relog into Frontier server from scratch seemed to fix it.

mine was more often immediately after jumping with SCA using auto de-throttle, do you have SCA? Is that a common denominator?

Oops...
I read that as rebuy rather than relog... the former being the one I am obviously more acquainted with in my gameplay :ROFLMAO:
