What do the icons mean?

Knowing specifically which things are depleting your suit energy is WAY more important that a stamina bar that tells you something that is much more frequent and immediate...
jeez

Also, they really need that temp warning, because it mean so much considering pretty much every planet is hot, or cold, and... well your suit protects you seemingly the same either way. I mean come on. Think...
never really cared about the energy consumption, while all the time guessing if I can run yet… Especially important in combat to know of you can sprint or not

Tool depleting energy indicator is kind of redundant. I mean I know when it is depleting it because I am using that tool :)
There is no tool with passive function that would deplete the energy without me knowing.
Or does it have some other use?

A stamina bar would be much more helpful.

It'd be more useful if all of those icons sat atop a % value/m of drainage.
The worst part of those icons is, I hadn't even really noticed them prior to this topic. If your UI elements are something people don't even notice, then they are either pointless, poorly placed, badly designed, or all of the above.

Can't argue with that but I don't think it's really very important. As I said above, switching up what they present to the player would be nice.

And yet no sprint bar for depletion or recharge... like it would just only need to be two pixels wide
Listen to your breathing. That is your sprint bar. The closer you are to running out of sprint, the more labored your breathing. As you rest after running out of stamina, your breathing settles and when it gets to a certain point, you can sprint again.

Also condensation and moisture on helmet screen but... Yeah

You can't hear that in a firefigtht and condensation won't tell you when you can sprint again so you have to constantly mash the button.

They've added new icons to the HUD.

One is a person with a line through it, one is an unidentifiable blob with a line through it.

The blob one lit up for me while I was on a mission, but I couldn't tell why. I wasn't doing anything much at the point it came on, although I did shoot someone and get a bounty shortly after it lit up. I wasn't in a restricted zone or anything.

Anyone know what these are?

Tell us more!

I think one means you've been spotted in a restricted zone and had a warning, the other means you have been spotted with a weapon or tool out and had a warning. The blob is a P15 or similar pistol.
I'm not 100% sure but it makes sense based on my experience so far

Ok, that would make sense. I'm pretty sure they saw me draw my pistol. I guess the blob does look a bit like a weapon.

It's a linear depletion, meaning stamina drains at the same rate during sprinting no matter what and you should be able to get a feel for it after a few times. You shouldn't need a bar in the game to tell you what you can already figure out if you just pay a bit of attention.

Not meant to sound rude but this is really sounding a bit hand-holdish.

Unless I'm remembering wrong, the person with a line through it will light up if you're in a restricted area. The "blob" one is actually a gun and I believe it's telling you weapons are prohibited where you are. It won't light up if you're doing a scavenger raid, for example.
