What do you do after getting triple elite?

Exploration is Mr. Bones' Wild Ride: it never ends.

Also, BGS, PowerPlay (pleasedonthurtme), and what was already mentioned, CQC. Planetary circumnavigation.

Once Odyssey comes, circumnavigation on foot. Optionally, finding an extremely low-gravity landable planet and circumnavigating it using your jetpack, with your feet touching the ground as little as possible. (Unless that will be the meta.)

No, play for enjoyment but you still need a goal to head for

You're getting a lot of jabs and jokes, and I get it, that's these boards, and frankly I revel in it too. Few message boards are as irreverent (note: not irrelevant) as this one, and I love it for that reason.

But I completely hear you OP. I saw the same thing coming in my earliest days. After the novelty began to recede a bit, I discovered that what propelled me forward wasn't the actual gameplay, which is great and all, but chasing goals. And I could see that once I ran out of goals, I'd run out of compelling reasons to keep going. I totally get it when folks here say just keep doing the same things. But for a few of us?, Elite is a game of setting and reaching goals. Without these, motivation wanes.

So I'm not sure what the answer will be OP. I'm banking on Odyssey playing a big part in this, and I hope it does. I'm close to triple Elite, have all the ships I want, and honestly I'm down to focusing on things like Inara badges and rank. Hey, it's a goal!

Try some serious PvP. Study the builds, crunch the numbers, mini-max few PvP dedicated ships and just play it. PvE combat is like a glorified tutorial compared to the real thing. Or just get a small ship and try to play the game that way.

You thought you had found the real raxxla? No no no. That is but a ploy driven by the club and the dark wheel and the shadow military INRA, and our friends the thargoids (the war is also an agreed upon decoy as we've been allies with the thargoids for over a hundred years), to throw everyone off the true location, which if anyone ever finds they hexedit the memories of the explorer to keep secret.

After you become triple elite, you go off into the void ...not to some common destination. But off into the real void to slumber. Awaiting a time for humanity to catch up to your level of awesomeness so that you can rejoin them and not just wreck face with godlike abilities and accidentally become worshipped as some kind of force of nature.
