What do you use your Python for?

That's the thing with the Python, its good at everything but not the best at anything.

That's the definition of multi purpose isn't it?
No, it's not the best dogfighter. That's the Vulture.
It's not the best cargo ship. That's the T9
But neither of those ships can do what the Python can do. It can trade, it can fight, it can mine, it can explore and it's better than average at ALL of those things.

I use mine for landing practise.

*don't try without shield boosters.

The Python is like the Cobra big brother: a solid multi-role ship which doe snot really excel at anything. It can land at medium pads so that's a pretty good advantage over other trading ships too.

A good piracy ship if you are into that.

Wrong, it's the Conda.

Cmdr Obside aboard his mighty sexy Python : the Shard of Sebilis.
Trading, Fighting and now Exploring with it.
Went to lugh battle with her (Yes m Python ship is a girl), and did well. Took her to Sag A and am on the way back.
I loved trading with this ship, why ? Cause of medium pad land. Over crowded trade route mostly use large pad while with my lil girl i could find some good profit short run with an outpost gold seller.
Also great ship to raise faction (u fill it with all food and land on any station/outpost for delivery missions).

It is the last ship to land on outpost and this is a MAJOR upside for all advenurers and traders.

Love this ship.

Having owned a Python since the heady days of the Lux wars, I have used it for most in-game roles (except mining). Flown to Sgr A* (hull re-paint cost 4.5 million credits!!!!), smuggled (sort of), traded, fought. Generally love it to bits. Have a T-9 to print money, and a Vulture for pure in-your-face shooting, but use the Python as a "can-do" ship, without costing an arm and a leg.

Steady!

I've done everything with mine except mining and pirating. Explored some 20k lys out. Traded until I couldn't possibly need another million credits (paid for my conda). A beast at the Res. Unstoppable. All you need do is change up your load out to suit the need. The python is an awesome ship that doesn't excel at anything but can do everything quite well. If only it had its pre-nerf speed...

If the incoming changes for mining work the way I hope...Python will be the perfect platform for mining in high res spots :D

I use it for annoying the wife when I say I'm going to play with my Python and it makes the kids giggle.

Agree with this I do, love my Python, best ship as an all rounder Imo.

I bought Python for the sole purpose of mission running. She's A rated fitted and can do any missions at stations and outpost.

248T trader with teeth.
I need a second one for combat only, but that's a loooong way off money-wise.
