What does CODE stand for?

Respectfully, your statement doesn't make sense. To dominate is to exercise control or influence over something, somewhere, or someone; reference Google link to definition. Accordingly, employing acts to effectuate "freedom" in this context would constitute by example an act or acts of resistance (using your word) or force to release one, few, many or all from domination or synonymously control. Therefore, the use of "force" to release one from domination would be a better categorization. Domination is control and the antithesis of freedom, not execution of or synonymous to "freedom".

Unless further elaboration is requested, this will close the support ticket on the use of the word "freedom", and its proper application. Please take notice that you are a valued customer of the English Language. and we appreciate your patronage. :) ;)

For my part they are purely tongue in cheek and in no way represent how I actually feel about CODE which is that regardless of how you might feel about their actions they do enrich the game and that I am afraid to say is all that matters so far as I am concerned, everybody has options to deal with their tactics via the choice of solo mode and so long as actual exploits are not used (that is my main issue with the situation) or are highlighted and patched out then I am more than happy for them to carry on :)

Not liking what they did does not give us licence to cease following the rules ourselves where they are concerned

That this thread continues suggests it is permissible we can start a thread mocking any in game group we like and encourage a mob mentality to ridicule them.

Consider you actions when you later claim you have the right to do so as "they were the bully first."

This thread has been tongue in cheek and light hearted. It has been a relief of sorts considering the actions and upset recently relating to CODE.
It is nothing more than that.

I think you didn't read the other half of my sentence. Providing liberty for an individual automatically provide said individual with the ability to dominate others. Yes, the loss of liberty perhaps is the result of successful domination, but the ability to resist said domination is also exercised via a secondary party's freedom.

Please read about Weber and his work on Politics as a Vocation, I think you'll have a better grasp of the concept.

I hope you are aware that the definition of any word is very much open to interpretation, unless you are attempting to stress some sort of absolute universalized definition of rigid linguistics. Then I would advise you on reading about Schiller and his letters.

Some might say there is no such thing as true freedom. To "Be free", one must first follow a command. Catch 22 of language I suppose. BTW, if you lot really want to know what CODE stands for, why not take a trip to Leesti one evening and ask some of them over the local comms...if you've got the bottle :D

Precisely, it's some of these people trying to shove their opinions down other people's throats and don't have the slightest tolerance of any difference that really worry me.

Bring us rum, we just might let you pass or have a good chat with you in the Lave cluster.
