At the moment in game I am flying from the bubble to Colonia, 46 odd jumps away and my Mrs keeps shaking her head at my phone alarm going off every 20 minutes for me to do the next jump!
She thinks it's a total waste of time , and also just laughed saying that I'm 50 and it's something a spotty teenager should be doing and not a grown up man!
I did tell her that it was what I was doing when I was a spotty teenager,,,, just haven't got the spots or the hair now!
I'll see what else she says in the next 20 mins time, as the FC fog horns just gone off!

My wife has nothing against it. She actually likes to watch when I visit beautiful places in the galaxy. But she doesn’t understand why I like to put my name on fresh new systems though - and especially not that I can do it again and again without getting tired of it . Actually I don’t understand that last bit either .

My Mrs bought me my Oculus Rift for my birthday a few years ago and is very supportive of me playing it (despite being 51 ) probably she enjoys gaming herself, occasionally. I can't convince her to taken ownership of my alt account though.

When my wife asks me to take out the rubbish and I respond "In combat, give me a few minutes" she now responds with "Thargoids?" instead of "can't you pause the game?". I call that progress.
