What emotes would you like to see in Odyssey?

Maybe less emote and more action to interact with things, like walking up to a chair and pushing the action button to sit down. That sort of thing makes sense.

Recalling gesture with hand ("follow me!")
Bending down with hands on knees ("I'm tired")
Shaking head (disaproval)
Nodding (approval)
Hand shake (with someone)
Looking around
Rising hands over the head (surrender)
Shrugging
Gestures of impatience like looking up, turning around, stepping from foot to foot
Thumb up
High five

Frontier is a British company, so I expect a full range of British emotes:
  • Two fingered salute
  • Looking up from a newspaper, shaking of the head and looking back down
  • Tea drinking, with extended little finger
  • Standing, with the occasional lean to one side and peering forwards
Any less than this, and I will be one unhappy LEPer ;)

An emote is an action that your character would do in game. In the old game Star Wars Galaxies, the emote was initiated by putting a command in the chat channel. For example, if I wanted to do a salute, I would enter this in chat,

/o7

the character would then do the salute.
or if I wanted to do the slit throat emote, I would type in,

/slitthroat

Here is a video I found of Star Wars Galaxies emotes, as an example.
