What exactly is a holome?

I've never bothered to actually make one. Mainly because they practically all look the same in the contacts panel. Is holome a hologram? Does this mean commanders are actually Holograms, sort of like the doctor from Voyager? If so, I guess that would explain why there are no space legs--because no Holo emitters outside our ships or SRV.

It's a visual representation of you in case you want to do multi crew. Or look at you from outside the window. It can look like you or like you want to (i.e. have you know, breast extensions).

Your commander is not a hologram. "Holo me" refers only to the customization interference.

It is effort to find out where have all the people gone in the universe of this game. ;) I have never seen anyone for once, and i 've visited thousands of stations and outposts.. they 're probably chillin' on the beaches of all these water worlds while the holograms (and us) do all the work ;)

It's effectively a mirror. Not much more to it.

Holomé is Salomé's younger sister.

Coffee -> keyboard :D

According to Wikipedia it's a "semi-hard, unripened, brined cheese made from a mixture of goat's and sheep's milk, and sometimes also cow's milk."

Yes, the holo-me creates the holo-avatar for multicrew "tranference", but at the same time I think it's assumed to be referencing your pilot's real look. So in lore, it's the process of holo scanning your pilot and saving the (holo)-avatar(s). Outside of the lore, it's basically a character physical aspect creation/customization feature like any other individualized rpg game. And also a preparation for use in spacelegs someday.

It's a RNG person type thingy that imitates an Andriod at times and at other times not but it can multi-crew instantly to anywhere in the Galaxy.

or tis the SIMS in space (base builder coming SOON!)
