I have 2 Computers that I play Elite Dangerous on. Resolution 1920 x 1080.
Computer 1. Radeon HD 4870 1GB (x1)
Computer 2. Radeon 7950 3GB (x1)
.
The Radeon HD 4870 (XFX) is used for fryin' eggs on while playing Elite Dangerous...but it works reasonably well on low settings
The R7950 (MSI Twin Frozr) works fine on medium settings.

Wow I got the same one, first I received the 980 TI LIGHTNING but it had some issues, then I finally got the Sea Hawk, what clock speeds can you push out of this one?
I got boost to 1.460GHz and mem to 7.8GHz and it stay just around 50c best purchase I ever did.
My MSI GT70 has the GTX 670MX. However ED won't in the games graphics settings Its not selected. It only shows the built in graphics card. Even tho the nvidia controller says its running, the power light is orange, telling me its running and my fps seems stable at about 50ish. Any ideas?
Nvidia GTX 690 (dual GPU). Was able to run ED 1.5 at 6038x1080, but horizons is too demanding at that resolution, so i'm down to regular 1080p to get 60fps. Plus side is everything is on ultra except terrain, which is set to high.
Just looking at the list in the first post I may have the lowest Nvidia with a GTX 550Ti.
Everything on medium settings and my system doesnt overheat or crash, so happy days
