Based on Traveller: The New Era's Fire, Fusion and Steel, the builder's manual, a Small Stateroom has 28 m^3 and a Large Stateroom has 56 m^3. That is supposed to include life support function for the addition of passenger spaces.
I would suspect that you'd have a desk, bunks/double bed, hygeine, and a portion of that would be devoted to common spaces like a mess, lounge, etc.

True.Not to mention that passengers are surprisingly nonchalant about trip taking anywhere from ten minutes to 24 hours.
