What I think we want ...

That's what I mean. Youth. I'm a Grumpy old Git and you are exactly what I'm talking about. Youth for me is anyone under the age of 45.

According to the latest 'Average Human Lifespan' data, middle age starts at about 60yrs. So anything below that would be a youth ;)

How does that song go.........oh yeah that’s it.........

you cant always get what you waaant
you can’t always get what you waaant
you can’t always get what you waaant

but if you bide some time
you just might find
you get the game you need.

Its by the stationary bricks cracking tune.

To the OP, I think it's you that is wanting that, but seriously, you're wanting a different game to Elite: Dangerous.

Me? I want Elite: Dangerous; the way Frontier has designed it.

Fixed it ...

BTW, nobody likes people who don’t want to share their opinions but comment anyways

It seems like most people dont like people who assume they speak on everyones else behalf, in first place...

Also, if you like shooting Skimmers that much just head to the nearest Guardian Structure, i heard there are some tasty, brand new Skimmers round there (wouldnt earn you an A-Rated Cutter in no-time though...)

If it were balanced, nobody would need to use „exploits“. I did not use this Method. Just to let u know. But I researched the Numbers in 31 Beta and they are speaking for themselves. 40000+ Ships in the past 24 Hours. That’s a lot of People. Which leads me to think that there must be a reason why there are so many people exploiting. Maybe cause the payouts are not what matches the effort you put in.

Wrong wrong wrong and wrong again.

What we all want is a hula-girl bobblehead, and I am certain that I speak for 100% of this community when I say this.

[Fingers in ears] ......lah lah lah can't hear you can't hear you.....

Payouts are horrible low.
Belt Ratting: 1 Hour nets you Max 5 Mil. You need at least a Ship worth 100 Mil. Rebuy is a lot more than you can earn. Even with Missions and a better Ship.
.

belt ratting... do you mean farming pirates at a RES? if so i call horse dung on that....

my RES ship is more than capable and costs FAR less than 100 million credits. dont forget to go to Li Jong Rui (SP?) to get 15% off.

The reason that many palyers did it is because any player typicly will follow the path of least resistance and do something as effiecent as possible and will sacrifice having fun for that any time. You can have a extremly fun Mission as long as there is a boring repetive thing like shooting in a hole for hours that pays more players will go there and shot in a hole for hours.
Which isn't a ciritic towards thoese players since that is pretty normal human behaviour, its the developers job to try and stop players from doing it. Thats why your typical game has limits and activly tries to stop players from doing certain things and thats why developers fix exploits.

People keep making excuses for this game, but labeling credit schemes as "exploits" shouldn't be a monthly activity.

regardless of the direction you think the game should go, the fact that FDev can't keep the game steady is embarrassing and troubling. You don't hear this happening with most other major MMO's or games. We shouldn't be tolerating this.

So, you are happy the Way this Game is performing? Why then hang around and comment on Forums. You could have enjoyed the Premium Gameplay meanwhile.

Not a single constructive Answer ...

Wait, you only visit forums of stuff you dont like? Anyway, you can do almost everything in a cobra, and you can earn hundreds of rebuys in an afternoon. Stop being so whiny and dramatic and make more reasonable arguments.

And speak for yourself.

Didnt you read the OP, he clearly explained to you you dont want ED as it is designed. :p

..

community

1.
a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common.
2.
the condition of sharing or having certain attitudes and interests in common

Point 2 is why I am here... tho i admit the more i see threads like this the more i think those who i am on the same page with have begun to leave the game... there are still a few tho :)

generally I AM happy with how the game is working in places.... but equally i acknowledge it is under performing in other areas

this issue is of course what you consider improvements I consider ripping the heart out of the game, what you consider nerfs i consider attempting to keep the games identity.

btw my yardstick of the direction the game should be heading is from here

and here (its a playlist of 10 short videos)

whilst i do not claim to be objective, i am human and my bias will always slip in, but i at least attempt to post from a view of, what game did Fronteir tell us they would make, and try to go from there.

The thing is, Darth Nerferous, it's hard to take you seriously.

You said in an earlier post that you've been playing for 3 years, but your forum account is only 3 weeks old.

Your username and timing suggest this is actually a sock-puppet account for another user.

Of course, I have no proof of this except circumstantial evidence. But Frontier forum rules specify that you are only allowed one account.

So, yea...
