What is everyone going to do with the new flat ride and coaster customisation options?

Based on what was shown in the trailer and what has been described in YouTube videos, what are you looking forward to building?

I can't believe we will be able to customise coaster cars. I also love the idea of making the flat rides blend with a themed area but also be animated. It's amazing and more than I ever dreamed. I thought of the idea of having switch out scenery pieces, one for each theme.

Built heavily themed coasters,tracked rides,flat rides. With all this added scenery they will blend in even better with the surroundings. Imagine you want your coaster train to look like a snake for example or a car. And as seen you can make teacups look like a moving corall reef with a submarine. You could also put some animated pieces on the rides or lights.

#chiefbeefbelief. A lot is possible with this and the other new features. It's honestly amazing to me this is possible😳

I know! They took suggestions from the forums and went, "how can we make this even better".

We have to wait for the next unlocked stream!

The only thing I saw was that there were two spots at the tea cups which got themed... the middle axis and the axis between the cups. Not the cups!

The cars have teacup handles -- baked into the ride, or added on like the sub, rocks, and corals? If they're plain cars with the teacup handles added like the rest then that's really customizable! But you're right, gotta wait for more info.

Thing is teacups are a really popular ride in most parks so it's not the end of the world. I wouldn't not want teacups. Though if we can add scenery to the cars and they move...! We will see soon hopefully.

Fair point, it'd just be nice if we didn't have to. Getting back on topic: if there's a (please ghu better) Thememaker's Toolkit then a Newell Teapot ride! Okay, my ideas are pretty vague at this point, relentlessly themed-to-area of course, but not much specific. Tentacles on the teacups! Haven't seen an octopus ride yet, might need to.

I love the fact that rides and coasters are now customisable. It opens up a whole new world of opportunities. However im always keen on what we already have or had. So I can't help it but the first thing I will do is see how far I can get in getting back what we had :p

For example, they took out the middle part for the teacups. I hope they add the removed part as a scenery piece so you could put it back.

Themed teacups are so common though so I really hope we can customise the cups too!

  • Marauders Mayhem has gunpowder barrels
  • Spinning Spider has logs
  • Monsieur Canibale...umm...HAD cartoony steel pots

If I was to list them all out I could be here all night. :p

Exactly. They have so much potential as a ride type for so many themes. They could be egg shells with a chicken on the middle plattform and some hay in between for example. Good for a farm theme.

Then with the decal system discussed in one of the content creator videos, I assume you can change the pattern on the floor and on the cups. It talked about there being different designs for different themes..
