What is it I spy with my little eye?

Planet coaster just released a screenshot on their twitter and except for the new path and the increased path limit for blueprints there is one thing that caught my eye! What is that? One way paths, or is it some kind of attraction area. Frontier released a forum post earlier today showing of the management-UI and next to flat rides coaster and some stand thing (boardwalk games?) there is this exclamation point looking thing. Is it some kind of attraction thing or special area? I have no idea to be honest!

I've just got to say everything so far is looking awesome! [up] to Frontier!

Good questions!!!

I'm curious as well to what that small gate is. And no clue on that 4th symbol either.
If those were tracked rides or something i would have guessed it would have been between the coasters and the shop. But since its all the way on the right i guess it's not a ride-type. But no clue on what it is then.

Oooh, maybe it has to do with utilities? Like maintenance sheds, toilets, power, water, or something. I don't think toilets would fall under shops, but then again... Maybe it would be mechanized scenery like ride events or something? It's a cog wheel with an exclamation mark, so it seems technical and important.

Maybe that cog wheel button can be used to show an overview of rides and attractions that have a malfunction or have broken down? That would be nice.

I do notice that the picture with the magic carpet ride is showing build 0.1.32440 [pirate]
That is perfectly normal. Since the application on steam is different then the alpha, they will restart the build number for convenience and organization purposes. That is most likely the internal build number for the new steam app. Don't worry, that photo is most certainty new [wink]

I don't see anyone who's mentioned that the 1st pic also shows the only announced biome that we've not yet seen (or at least, I haven't)!

Unfortunately, I only see one new type of staff member - mechanic. (Under staff summary - Janitor, Mechanic, Entertainer, Shops)

Where is the security guard with his taser? Also other types of staff - Park inspector, guest relations, delivery crew (for delivering inventory to shops), paramedics, gardener, etc. I was really hoping for more depth in this area of the simulation. (I don't even see room to add anything to that interface for other staff types.)

Hopefully the staff simulation depth will come...

Yer no security guard is a real shame. Would be nice to have misbehaving guests and security guards needed to kick them out or do something about it.
Don't feel like any of the other types of staff are necessary though apart from Park inspector and possibly paramedics, though not sure what use they would be with what we currently have. Gardeners would be nice but at the moment they have no use.

The delivery crew is a nice idea, though I wouldn't have them as staff. I would rather that be under shop options about product delivery times and all that, managing how much you want to receive and how often.

Nice to see a new biome, the 2000 piece blueprints and whatever that other checkpoint thing seems to be. Is it possible that it could be used for scenic walkthroughs or something? That's the only thing I can gather from it considering it is placed before a large castle with a looping path.
