It's a neutron star inside of a planetary nebula. The most important thing you need to know about neutron stars is that they are the densest objects in the universe, they are tiny but still have a lot of mass. As a result you will only see a small dot in front of you, not much brighter than the background starfield, but the exclusion zone will remain large as if it was a much bigger star. People who don't have experience with neutron stars usually crash into this exclusion zone because they can't see the star and they think it's safe - throttle down on system entry, keep your orbital lines on and pay attention to the yellow circle marking the exclusion zone and you'll be fine.
Oh, and neutron stars aren't scoopable, so make sure you have enough fuel to get out of there as well.
