What is this sound?

Please help me identify this sound. In the video below, it sounds (to me, at least) like a weed whacker. I hear it only very sporadically (it took two hours in a CNB to capture it to video).

maybe some xtended feature of your soundchip here, adding kind of echo
check the settings, there should be a tab where you can en/disable those, worth a try

I have no sound effects or enhancements set to my sound device. And it happens extremely rarely.
With regard to the limpets, I launched and expired at least 20 of them this session before I heard that sound the first time, so I don't think it's the limpets.
