Absolutely needed. I would love to get them for my Zoo. Not only for the big Parks but it also fits pretty good into Wildparks. Seems like they also live in the tropical Climate too (at least they do also live on Borneo, so it's a Assumption based on that)It was actually really difficult to choose which single species I would want most but ultimately I always came back to my old favourite, the yellow throated marten:

- It would add another small (<20kg) carnivore to Planet Zoo, which remains an under-represented group of animals; only three of the twenty-five Carnivora currently in Planet Zoo are in the smaller size bracket
- They are not that rare in zoos - in the EAZA region there are thirty-three zoos that keep them as well as a number of zoos in their native Asian range; there is still, I believe, one zoo in America that keeps them as well
- They can be kept in a diverse range of enclosures ranging from small netted or mesh-roofed enclosures to huge open-air woodland exhibits like the 700 square metre space at Nuremberg Zoo in Germany (as in this picture:https://www.zoochat.com/community/media/yellow-throated-marten-enclosure.395088/full)
- They are extremely active animals in real life and as such they seem well-suited to the current style of the game, where all the animals show high activity levels
- They are very competent climbers and will hang upside-down from branches by their back legs or cling to the underside of branches with all four feet; they would add another smaller-sized climbing animal to the game
- Unlike most mustelids these are a social animal that normally lives in pairs or trios but has been recorded in groups of up to seven adult animals; this would allow for a more active and interesting display animal
- Despite their small size, they are top predators in the wild and are able to kill prey much larger than they are, including small deer and monkeys; this would add an interesting and little-known predator species
- Yellow throated martens are found across Eastern and Southeastern Asia and occupy all the major forested biomes (taiga, temperate and tropical) so could fit in with many different Asian habitat areas
- Finally, they are one of the most strikingly-colourful of all mustelids and would add a species with a colour scheme quite unlike anything in the game at the moment
