What is your Elite Quirk?

Yay - let's necro the hell out of this thing, there's life in it yet!

So I got another one right now. I'm trying to do another planetary circumnavigation but I just cannot bring myself to leave occupied escape pods just lying there. So far I've rescued 24 but it's adding days to the journey! 🤪

It’s not that old!
I’d prefer ‘recently deceased’.

Ah there is evidently life in this little thread yet lol

Not bad for a thread I honestly thought I would be lucky to get more than a couple of replies lol

The only quirk I can think of was while exploring or even in the bubble now, I have to scan every unknown planet in every system I jump in. In the old days, not all my ships were equipped with a scanner, so was able to get around quickly in those ships, but nowadays, every ship has a scanner and I can't go through a system without making sure it has been scanned and all the planets revealed. Takes me longer to get anywhere though, even a short trip of 7 or 8 jumps may take an hour if its going through systems I haven't been to before, and if those systems have a whole bunch of planets.

I always used try to "rescue" npcs. it happens less often these days but they used to get wedged in the toaster all the time and would often get killed by station security. I always tried to get them out of it before that happened, even to the point of picking up fines myself.

I have a list of "rules" as long as my arm which I have to stick to which massively slows down my progress.

I hate pitching down for things. If a planet or the mail slot or whatever is "below" the nose of my ship, I'll roll inverted so that it's now "above" and then pull up to align. This is probably a holdover from my flight simulator days (anybody remember F-16 Fighting Falcon? yes, I'm that old) when your pilot could withstand 9 positive g's before blacking out, but only about 2.5 negative g's before redding out. Therefore pulling up was always preferable to pushing down.
