What is your favourite and least favourite animal of each pack?

Arctic Pack:
Favourite - Polar Bear:
I love the challenge of building for these guys.
Least Favourite - Arctic Wolf: I actually don't dislike them, I just don't use them as much as I do the dall sheep or the reindeer, I find it easier to use them in zoos, the arctic wolf I have a harder time implementing.

South America Pack:
Favourite - Capuchin:
I use it so often in small animal houses, I think I have them in nearly every zoo of mine. I like their little faces too.
Least Favourite - Llama: I just don't use it, and I think there is a lot of other animals that would have been more interesting in this space.

Australia Pack:
Favourite - Koala:
I love building for them, they are a little janky but still fun. I don't mind the amount of activity, all of the koalas I've seen in the wild have been running along the road or chasing me through a paddock (breeding season lol). I have only seen them sleep at zoos I guess.
Least Favourite - Dingo: I know it's iconic but I think there was other interesting choices, especially because there are so many canids candidates for the game (Bilby, Tassie Devil, Numbat, any possum, echidna, fr, so many others I would rather see)

Aquatic Pack:
Favourite - King Penguin:
They are fun to watch and I get very inspired building for them.
Least Favourite - Grey Seal: I like it, I just don't really use it.

Southeast Asia Animal Pack:
Favourite - Clouded Leopard:
Their eyes get me.
Least Favourite - Malayan Tapir: One of the few animals I actually dislike in game.

Africa Pack:
Favourite - Meerkat:
They are so cute! I like building for them too.
Least Favourite - African Penguin: I just use the other animals more.

North America Animal Pack:
Favourite - American Alligator:
I really enjoy building for reptiles.
Least Favourite - Arctic Fox: I am not the biggest fan, still cool tho.

Europe Pack:
Favourite - Alpine Ibex:
Surprisingly easy to add to zoos, especially if you're not sure how to jazz up a hillside or mountain area lol. I use them quite often.
Least Favourite - European Fallow Deer: The Badger and Lynx I use more.

Wetlands Animal Pack:
Favourite - Platypus:
Cute monotreme oddity.
Least Favourite - Asian Small Clawed Otter: I don't build for otters often, that said I adore the animals in this pack and use them frequently, this is my least used one of the animals.

Conservation Pack:
Favourite - Prezwalskis Wild Horse:
I am a horse girl at heart. Loved seeing these guys irl, and love playing with them in game. Used to be obsessed with them in ZT2
Least Favourite - Amur Leopard: Again I don't dislike it, I just happen to use the Siamang and the Oryx more often.

Twilight Pack:
Favourite - Common Wombat:
They're fun, and I have plans to go see them in the wild. I really liked seeing them at a couple of Aussie Zoos.
Least Favourite - Red Fox: These guys are a big pest near me. They're cute in game but it's similar to frontier deciding to add feral cats imo.

Grasslands Animal Pack:
Favourite - Emu:
The goofiest birds ever. Finally I can have a mob of my favourite silly sausages.
Least Favourite - Blue Wildebeest: The other animals in this pack are just more enticing to me.

Tropical Pack:
Favourite - Asian Water Monitor:
More reptiles make me happy. I get creative with building for these guys.
Least Favourite - Red River Hog: I didn't really get the hype as they're not common here, I don't dislike it, I just like the others better.

Arid Animal Pack:
Favourite - Dromedary Camel:
I love them.
Least Favourite - Sand Cat: I don't really like the face.

Marine Pack:
Favourite - Manatee: Finally
Least Favourite - Skate Nosed Ray:
I think a spotted eagle Ray would have been nicer

(Marine pack is a joke. "Mixing and Shaking" lives in my head rent free right now)

I didn’t even see this lol
Here’s my go:

Arctic Pack
Favourite • Polar Bear - A zoo essential, I use them all the time.
Least Favourite • Arctic Wolf - I don’t really use any of the animals from this pack except for the bear honestly, this one just comes last cause I don’t use wolves a lot.

South America Pack
Favourite • Giant Anteater - Love its inclusion in this pack, such a beautiful animal.
Least Favourite • Llama - I get that it can be used in children’s zoos, I just wish it was swapped out for something more useful like guanaco or vicuña.

Australia Pack
Favourite • Southern Cassowary - I feel like this one gets overlooked a lot, it had one of the most detailed models at its time, and they’re fun to build for.
Least Favourite • Dingo - Never used them, I honestly forgot we even had dingos cause I scroll right past em in the market.

Aquatic Pack
Favourite • King Penguin - I think everyone was amazed we were getting penguins, me included. Nothing beats seeing them swim around in that first announce trailer.
Least Favourite • Giant Otter - The ASCO looks way better. Giant Otter I don’t ever use because of the new one looking so much better.

Southeast Asia Animal Pack
Favourite • North Sulawesi Babirusa - I always love it when we get new swines, and this one was no exception.
Least Favourite • Malayan Tapir - Don’t think I need an explanation.

Africa Pack
Favourite • Southern White Rhino - At first it was the meerkat but after a while this one quickly rose to the number 1 slot.
Least Favourite • Fennec Fox - Another one I forget we have, don’t use it.

North America Animal Pack
Favourite • American Beaver - got no logical explanation for this one, they’re adorable.
Least Favourite • Arctic Fox - Just feels like it doesn’t belong, it being the only one living in snowy colder climate of the pack.

Europe Pack
Favourite • Eurasian Lynx - Still want the Canadian Lynx, but I do admit this was a really cool addition.
Least Favourite • European Fallow Deer - None of the animals are bad, this one’s just the least exciting for me.

Wetlands Animal Pack
Favourite • Capybara - Adorable, Legend, what’s not to love?
Least Favourite • Spectacled Caiman - I actually prefer to use the dwarf caiman, so I didn’t really need this one.

Conservation Pack
Favourite • Przewalski’s Horse - Beautiful story, beautiful animal. Love them. Gibbon is a very close second though.
Least Favourite • Amur Leopard - Nothings wrong with it, but this was the point bit cats started to fall flat.

Twilight Pack
Favourite • Raccoon - Another one I can’t give an explanation to, they’re just too good.
Least Favourite • Striped Skunk - Boring animal for me, could’ve been replaced with something urban but a bit more interesting.

Grasslands Animal Pack
Favourite • Maned Wolf - One of my favourites of the entire game, such a beautiful model and design.
Least Favourite • Blue Wildebeest - Nothing against it, I love it, but someone has to come last.

Tropical Pack
Favourite • Red River Hog - Extremely well executed, and for such a magnificent animal.
Least Favourite • AWM - Nothing against it, just the least exciting.

Arid Animal Pack
Favourite • African Crested Porcupine - Best model, Best design, Best animal for me hands down in real life and in game. What a champ.
Least Favourite • Sand Cat - The gazelle I can at least use for diversity and multi species enclosures, the cat is just idk, eh.
Oceania Pack
Favourite • North Island Brown Kiwi
Least Favourite • Flying Fox - Honestly nothing against it, just the least exciting for me

Eurasia Animal Pack
Favourite • Wild Boar
Least Favourite • Sloth Bear

Great thread, I'd thought about this at some point too but never got around to making a thread!

Arctic:
Favorite - Reindeer
Least Favorite - Polar Bear - if only because of the upkeep cost and requirements for to be happy

South America:
Favorite - Giant Anteater - which I never would have thought but there it is)
Least Favorite - Capuchian Monkey, mainly because they are so loud.

Australia:
Favorite - Koala
Least Favorite - Dingo

Aquatic:
Favorite - King Penguin
Least Favorite - Cuvier's Caiman

Southeast Asia:
Favorite - Clouded Leopard - even with the animation issues, it was the only one I was really excited to get
Least Favorite - Malayan Tapir - because it is not the animal as advertised. If they fixed the Tapir, my LF would be the Proboscis Monkey.

Africa:
Favorite - Meerkat - my most wanted animal when the game originally launched, since it is an absolute necessity of zoos.
Least Favorite - Fennec Fox - still an amazing animal, this pack really was fantastic all around, but I guess if someone has to come in last it's the fox.

North America:
Favorite - Moose
Least Favorite - Alligator - again, an amazing animal, there were no weak animals in this pack IMO. But as above, if something has to come in last it's the gator.

Europe:
Favorite - European Badger
Least Favorite - Fallow Deer

Wetlands:
Favorite - Capybara (though the ASCO is almost at the same level)
Least Favorite - Spectacled Caiman

Conservation:
Favorite - Przwalski's Horse
Least Favorite - Scimitar Horned Oryx

Twilight:
Favorite - Common Wombat
Least Favorite - Striped Skunk (still haven't used!)

Grasslands:
Favorite - Emu
Least Favorite - Armadillo

Tropical:
Favorite - Red River Hog
Least Favorite - Asian Water Monitor

Arid:
Favorite - Crested Porcupine
Least Favorite - Dama Gazelle
oh hey yeah, updates!

Oceania:
Favorite - Tasmanian Devil (just barely over the Kiwi)
Least Favorite - Quokka, and it's still sooo adorable.

Eurasia:
Favorite - Wolverine
Least Favorite - Sloth Bear

As far as replacements go, I'm at the point now that I'm really happy with our DLC rosters having filled all my earlier wants not in early DLC. Sure, I can always come up with other animals, but the Wolverine and Wild Boar were the final animals I'd originally hoped for with the NA and Europe sets.

It's the later DLC, really from Grasslands onwards, that still have animals that I feel should have been in and aren't in now. Which...from a logical linear perspective, makes the most sense. The main ones are Grasslands/Arid missing out on the Baboon and Secretary Bird opportunities, Tropical missing out on a New World Primate, Oceania missing out on a Tree Kangaroo (even though I love the entire Oceania roster), and the Eurasian pack missing out on the Musk Ox or Eurasian Otter.

Arctic
Favourite - Polar Bear
Least Favourite - Dall Sheep

South America

Favourite - White Faced Capuchin
Least - don’t really have one, but if I had to pick probably the Jaguar, just because I use the Amur Leopard more…

Australia
Favourite - Koala
Least - Dingo

Aquatic

Favourite - Grey Seal
Least - Cuvier’s Dwarf Caiman

Southeast Asia

Favourite - Sun Bear or Malayan Tapir
Least - Dhole

Africa

Favourite - White Rhinoceros or African Penguin
Least - again, I like all of these animals, but I’ll have to say Fennec Fox just because I use it the least.

North America
Favourite - California Sea Lion
Least - Cougar

Europe

Favourite - Alpine Ibex
Least - another pack where I love all the animals. I’ll say the European Badger because it’s not really a ZOO animal for me, but I love the species so much!!!

Wetlands
Favourite - Asian Small Clawed Otter
Least - Nile Lechwe

Conservation

Favourite - Amur Leopard
Least - I literally love every animal in this pack. I’m going to say the Siamang because since the Lar Gibbon, I don’t use it as much.

Twilight
Favourite - Striped Skunk
Least - Common Wombat

Grasslands

Favourite - Striped Hyena
Least - Caracal

Tropical

Favourite - Red River Hog (would be the Sloth if it had been two toed)
Least - Asian Water Monitor

Arid

Favourite - African Crested Porcupine
Least - Sand Cat

Oceania

Favourite - I actually don’t know, maybe the Flying Fox
Least - I don’t really like this pack. I’ll say the Quokka, but I wasn’t really a fan of any inclusion here.

Eurasia
Favourite - Wisent
Least - Sloth Bear

Arctic:
  • Favourite - Polar Bear - Basically one of the few reasons to actually buy the Arctic pack
  • Least Favourite - Arctic Wolf - I like the wolf since its basically a better version of the timber wolf but the weakest addition when compared to others
South America:
  • Favourite - Jaguar - One of my Favourite big cats
  • Least Favourite - Llama - Should of been the Vicuna
Australia:
  • Favourite - Red Kangaroo - Why wasn't it in the base game, one of the most iconic Australia zoo animals
  • Least Favourite - Koala - Not the animal itself but the mechanics implemented were done very poorly
Aquatic:
  • Favourite - Grey Seal - Who doesn't love a sea doggo
  • Least Favourite - Giant Otter - Otters are supposed to be cute, This one ain't that!
SEA:
  • Favourite - Binturong - One of my Favourite arboreal animals
  • Least Favourite - Dhole - Nope it isn't the tapir! It's just yet another canid I will never use
Africa:
  • Favourite - African penguin - One of the most versatile penguins to use and vastly prefer it over the king
  • Least Favourite - Meerkat - I hate to say it but making small habitats for Meerkats is a pain, lacks the cute factor of the Fennec Fox
North America:
  • Favourite - Cougar - Favourite big cat of course
  • Least Favourite - Beaver - I don't like beavers
Europe:
  • Favourite - Eurasian Lynx - Small cat of course
  • Least Favourite - Fallow Deer - Should of been a roe or red deer
Wetlands:
  • Favourite - Capybara - It's a capybara, what more do you want?
  • Least Favourite - Platypus - no hat enrichment, massively disappointed
Conservation:
  • Favourite - Siamang - Primate go swing
  • Least Favourite - Amur leopard - Big cats are kinda getting stale now
Twilight:
  • Favourite - Common Wombat - Always love these lesser known animals to fill up gaps
  • Least Favourite - Red fox - Didn't need another fox
Grasslands:
  • Favourite - Maned Wolf - Another South American animal and the animations are fantastic
  • Least Favourite - Emu - woooo another ratite , can't wait for another
Tropical:
  • Favourite - Red River Hog -we need more pigs
  • Least Favourite - Asian water monitor - Komodo dragon says hello
Arid:
  • Favourite - Dama Gazelle - Move over porcupine, a new gazelle has finally arrived
  • Least Favourite - Dromedary - Nice detail but still a camel
Oceania:
  • Favourite - Tasmanian Devil
  • Least Favourite - Everything else :ROFLMAO: If I had to choose, the quokka. If I wanted a hopping australian animal i'll use the wallaby or kangaroo.
Eurasia:
  • Favourite - Sichuan Takin - Finally an animal to contend with the golden llama statue!
  • Least Favourite - Saiga - Nothing against the animal itself, i'll just never use it.

Arctic:
Favorite - Reindeer. Runner-up: Dall Sheep. When (rarely) I build a cold climate zoo, I enjoy building for both species.
Least Favorite - Arctic Wolf. Should have been Arctic Fox, or maybe Wolverine. Runner-up: Polar Bear with its extreme requirements.

South America:
Favorite - Giant Anteater. I never expected to like this animal as much as I do! It's so strange and unique and I enjoy building habitats for it.
Least Favorite - Capuchin Monkey. Annoyingly loud, and too many climbing glitches.

Australia:
Favorite - Red Kangaroo. Runner-up: Cassowary. Neither animal really excites me, but the models are nice.
Least Favorite - Koala. Unrealistic animations, and the styling is too cartoonish for my taste.

Aquatic:
Favorite - Giant Otter. Creepy-looking, but the easiest animal in the pack for me to build for.
Least Favorite - all the rest. Well-made models, but I can't seem to build water habitats that don't have bugs and frequent escapes, so I seldom use any of these animals.

Southeast Asia:
Favorite - Binturong. Unique, beautifully made, fun animations.
Least Favorite - Proboscis Monkey by a mile. Ugly, seldom seen in zoos, should have been the Lion-Tailed Macaque, or the Grey or Javan Langur. Runner-up for least favorite goes to the Malayan Tapir, which we paid for but haven't received.

Africa:
Favorite - Meerkat. Essential zoo animal, beautifully made. Runner-up: the adorable Fennec Fox. I love being able to tuck in these smaller habitats between the larger ones.
Least Favorite - hmm, this was a good pack... I guess the Penguin because of my difficulties building water habs.

North America:
Favorite - Beaver. Great model, great fun to build for. Runner-up: the majestic Moose with its classic Moosey amble. This pack was so well done - just look at those details on the Alligator!
Least Favorite - Arctic Fox. It's very cute and I do use it, but it should've been included in the Arctic pack and then something like the American black bear or Wolverine could have taken its spot here.

Europe:
Favorite - Lynx. I do love small cats! The badger is also nice, but its inclusion has me worried that we might not get a honey badger, which I much prefer to the European.
Least Favorite - Fallow Deer. It's ok, I just don't find it that interesting.

Wetlands:
Favorite - Tie between Capybara and Red-Crowned Crane. Who can resist the chillin' Capabara? And the Crane is gorgeous, which makes it all the more disappointing that we haven't gotten similar birds in later packs.
Least Favorite - Wild Water Buffalo. Never used it, probably never will, it just seems redundant. Runner-up: Nile Lechwe, again never used. Instead Frontier should have given us water birds.

Conservation:
Favorite - Przewalski's horse. Stunning model, I use it all the time.
Least Favorite - Siamang. I find primates creepy, and I think the Siamang is not as well done as the Lar Gibbon.

Twilight (ah yes, the roadkill pack...)
Favorite - the goofy Wombat. Great model, easy to build for.
Least Favorite - Raccoon. Nightly pests that overturn my trash, push my plants into our garden pond, and eat our fish. I just can't bring myself to put one in my zoo. Should have been a Kiwi or Tasmanian Devil.

Grasslands:
Favorite - Maned Wolf. Very unusual animal and Frontier did an excellent job crafting the model and animations. Runner-up: Armadillo, another stellar model that I love building for.
Least Favorite - Tie between Emu and Blue Wildebeest. Both animals are iconic and well done, but I didn't need another wildebeest or ratite. Where is my Secretary bird?

Tropical:
Favorite - Red River Hog. Handsome piggy! Babies are adorable. Runner-up: the unique Fossa.
Least Favorite - Asian Water Monitor. Waste of a slot, we have more than enough of this type of reptile.

Arid:
Favorite - Tie between Porcupine and Somali Wild Ass. I use both of them all the time. Also a shout-out to the Dromedary Camel, one of the best-made animals in the game; I just don't use it that much because I find camels kinda boring.
Least Favorite - Dama Gazelle. Should have been any other (non-African, non-ungulate) species.
Oceania:
Favorite - Quokka. I can't resist building for these chubby lil guys, just to have those goofy smiles in my zoo.
Least Favorite - Flying fox. It added nothing that we didn't already have with the Fruit Bat.

Eurasia:
Favorite - Tie between Takin and Swan, with the Wolverine right behind them! The models are so gorgeous and I love building for them.
Least Favorite - Wisent. I've only used it once, just looks like a bigger and better-made American bison to me. 🤷‍♀️

Arctic Pack:
Favorite: Reindeer, just a solid animal inclusion
Least Favorite: Arctic Wolf, a pointless clone of the Timber Wolf

South America Pack:
Favorite: Giant Anteater, such a unique animal
Least Favorite: Llama, not a huge fan of domesticated species in general

Australia Pack:
Favorite: Southern Cassowary, a gorgeous model and some really neat sound design
Least Favorite: Dingo, just another somewhat generic canine

Aquatic Pack:
Favorite: King Penguin, getting a penguin at the time was just so novel, and it still holds up today
Least Favorite: Giant Otter, they're butt-ugly, and a better alternative was later added

Southeast Asia Animal Pack:
Favorite: Binturong, an inspired choice, and good on Frontier for listening to the player feedback about it
Least Favorite: Dhole, see reasoning for Dingo

Africa Pack:
Favorite: Meerkat, a staple zoo animal that can actually burrow underground
Least Favorite: Sacred Scarab Beetle, probably our worst exhibit animal inclusion to date

North America Animal Pack:
Favorite: American Alligator, a stunning model and just a good pick in general
Least Favorite: Black-Tailed Prairie Dog, not a bad choice at all, it just seems like Frontier really wanted to use the Meerkat rig again

Europe Pack:
Favorite: Eurasian Lynx, a majestic animal and our first European feline
Least Favorite: European Badger, a roadkill animal that took the place of a more deserving animal like the Wolverine

Wetlands Animal Pack:
Favorite: Red-Crowned Crane, one of my favorite animals in the entire game
Least Favorite: Danube Crested Newt, way too small for the exhibits, they're barely visible

Conservation Pack:
Favorite: Siamang, really cool sounds and they brachiate, need I say more
Least Favorite: Scimitar-Horned Oryx, not a terrible choice, just seemed like a bit of a Gemsbok clone

Twilight Pack:
Favorite: Common Wombat, an adorable chonker
Least Favorite: Striped Skunk, another roadkill animal, and one of the weakest DLC animals to date

Grasslands Animal Pack:
Favorite: Maned Wolf, I wanted this animal for a long time, and now that we have it, it's everything I wanted
Least Favorite: Blue Wildebeest, nothing against it, I just wish we got it in the base game so its slot in this pack could be filled by something else

Tropical Pack:
Favorite: Fossa, finally some Madagascar representation that isn't another lemur
Least Favorite: Asian Water Monitor, I love it, just less than the other four animals in this pack

Arid Animal Pack:
Favorite: African Crested Porcupine, Frontier went above and beyond bringing this animal to life, premium work
Least Favorite: Black Rhinoceros, while the model is good, I never understood the appeal of a third rhino

Oceania Pack:
Favorite: Tasmanian Devil, the top animal of a lot of people's wishlists for years, and now that it's in the game, it's amazing
Least Favorite: Spectacled Flying Fox, while I don't mind a second bat, it is just kind of a clone of the Egyptian Fruit Bat

Eurasia Animal Pack:
Favorite: Wolverine, but just barely, such an incredible model
Least Favorite: Wisent, it's just a more detailed American Bison without looking different enough to justify its inclusion

Deluxe
Favorite: Komodo Dragon (such a cool reptile)
Least Favorite: Thomson’s Gazelle (another boring African antelope)

Arctic
Favorite: Reindeer (cool deer, and I love making barns for them)
Least Favorite: Arctic Wolf (didn’t the ”Timber” cover their range?)

South America
Favorite: Capuchin (our only SA monkey 😭)
Least Favorite: Llama (they’re all great animals though)

Australia
Favorite: Red Kangaroo (Literally the most iconic AU animal)
Least Favorite: Dingo (I’m sure our AU players loved it, but it’s next to nonexistent in the US)

Aquatic
Favorite: Giant Otter (I suck at all semi-aquatic habitats, but these guys are the least painful.)
Least Favorite: King Penguin (An unpopular opinion, but I see penguins more as aquarium animals than zoo animals.)

Southeast Asia
Favorite: Binturong (a cool little critter that’s super fun to build for)
Least Favorite: Proboscis Monkey (Basically impossible to find in captivity)

Africa
Favorite: Meerkat (how can you not love them?)
Least Favorite: African Penguin (yeah, I just suck at building for them)

North America
Favorite: Prairie Dog (this pack is full of awesome animals, there really aren’t any bad ones)
Least Favorite: Beaver (They’re actually surprisingly absent here. I’ve only seen this guy and the moose at a rehab center.)

Europe
Favorite: Eurasian Lynx (Honestly this pack is pretty much useless for building NA zoos, but this one gets a pass.)
Least Favorite: Eurasian Badger (Idk, it’s just the most lackluster of all of them)

Wetlands
Favorite: Capybara (you really can’t say any other answer, it’s the true star of the pack.)
Least Favorite: Wild Water Buffalo (boring cow that is absent in zoos)

Conservation
Favorite: Amur Leopard (cool cat 😎)
Least Favorite: Siamang (I actually love this guy, he just gets the least use)

Twilight
Favorite: Red Fox (The best animal in the game IMO)
Least Favorite: Common Wombat (Once again, basically nonexistent in NA zoos)

Grasslands
Favorite: Emu (One of the last essential AU species IMO)
Least Favorite: Striped Hyena (Never seen them, I don’t think they’re too common here. This pack is all amazing tho)

Tropical
Favorite: Lar Gibbon (monkey go climby climb)
Least Favorite: Fossa (cool for madagascar rep, but also steers away from NA zoos)

Arid
Favorite: African Crested Porcupine (this guy is actually incredible. The quills look amazing)
Least Favorite: Dama Gazelle (once again, another boring African antelope)

Oceania
Favorite: Kiwi (The only one that is being kept near me)
Least Favorite: Tassie Devil (rare in NA zoos)

Eurasia
Favorite: Mute Swan (that guy’s awesome!)
Least Favorite: Saiga (once again on my spiel about captive presence)

Arctic Pack:
Favourite - Reindeer:
Just an extremely iconic polar species and the first deer added to the game.
Least Favourite - Arctic Wolf: I don't mind the Arctic wolf as much as some people, it's an animal that's quite distinct from the "timber wolf" despite being the same species, but it's no mystery that there were more interesting choices.

South America Pack:
Favourite - Giant Anteater: A super unique and awesome looking animal, our first xenarthran.
Least Favourite - Jaguar: Not among my favourite big cat species, and I was already pretty satisfied with the number of big cats we had in the base game.

Australia Pack:
Favourite - Dingo:
No doubt going to be the animal most frequently appearing as people's least favourite of this pack, but I've always been one of the biggest defenders of dingoes on this forum and I absolutely adore them.
Least Favourite - Koala: Absolutely essential (as every animal in the Australia Pack was for me), the koala is just held back slightly compared to the other animals in the pack by an overly cutesy model and being unrealistically active. Still love them regardless.

Aquatic Pack:
Favourite - Grey Seal:
Even if they're not as common as sea lions in zoos, I love earless seals and was super happy to get one here. I still love the way they move even if I don't use them very often nowadays (as with all animals in the Aquatic Pack).
Least Favourite - Cuvier's Dwarf Caiman: It's cute and pretty, but too small for most habitats and we now have a certified Better Caiman.

Southeast Asia Animal Pack:
Favourite - Sun Bear:
One of my all time favourite animals, they're weird goblin animals in the best possible way and I love them so much. Why would you want more bears when the peak of bear evolution is in the game already smh (my lawyer recommends I stress this is a joke).
Least Favourite - Malayan Tapir: Shouldn't be my least favourite, but you know why it's here.

Africa Pack:
Favourite - Fennec Fox:
Hard choice between this and the meerkat, but the fennec fox is just adorable and my go-to choice for a fox species.
Least Favourite - African Penguin: Not a bad addition in the slightest, just the only habitat animal from the pack I don't get a ton of use out of.

North America Animal Pack:
Favourite - American Alligator:
The only animal from the pack I really use, and use a ton at that. Icon of the southern swamps and my favourite crocodilian in the game.
Least Favourite - Arctic Fox: Not the worst, just feels kinda there and out of sync with the rest of the pack.

Europe Pack:
Favourite - European Fallow Deer:
This was the one European animal that was always high on my wishlist, and it was such a great surprise to see them appear in this pack (I think most people were expecting red deer). What's even more unexpected is that it became my favourite ungulate in the game and remains so to this day.
Least Favourite - Alpine Ibex: Great addition, but someone has to come last.

Wetlands Animal Pack:
Favourite - Platypus:
Even if not a super essential species (echidna will always be the more needed monotreme), FINALLY getting another Australian animal after a year and a half of waiting was such a treat and I'm really happy to have them in the game. As someone who mostly builds in Australia I get a lot more use of out of them than most people lol.
Least Favourite - Nile Lechwe: Once again an animal I quite like, the rest of the pack was just so strong for me (yes, even the buffalo and caiman) that something has to be in last place.

Conservation Pack:
Favourite - Siamang:
Swinging into action, it's now somewhat surpassed by the lar gibbon in quality but still such a great animal. I love hearing their calls across the zoo.
Least Favourite - Amur Leopard: another spotty big cat woo I guess

Twilight Pack:
Favourite - Common Wombat:
LETS GOOOOO my favourite animal in the game until the devil finally takes their rightful place on the throne (maybe this month? Hopefully?). They were just brought to life so well and carried the pack hard for me (alongside the actual bats).
Least Favourite - Striped Skunk: It's more unique than the red fox but somehow I find it less interesting. It sure is an animal that exists.

Grasslands Animal Pack:
Favourite - Emu:
Finally a zoo game with emus, words cannot stress how needed this addition was.
Least Favourite - Blue Wildebeest: Very iconic animals, but there are other antelopes I'd much prefer. The only habitat animal in the pack that wasn't on my wishlist.

Tropical Pack:
Favourite - Fossa:
One of the two carnivorans I considered essential at the start of the year (the other being the coati, still MIA), and it was great to see Madagascar finally get something besides lemurs.
Least Favourite - Red River Hog: Can understand why a lot of people love it, but it's always been an animal that's done little for me. Babirusa will always be the superior tropical hog don't @ me.

Arid Animal Pack:
Favourite - Dromedary Camel:
Wouldn't have expected a "clone" to come out on top for me, especially with the porcupine in the mix, but the dromedary is quite possibly the best made animal in the game. It looks godly.
Least Favourite - Somali Wild Ass: Hard choice between this and the sand cat, both just do very little for me personally.
Oceania Pack:
Favourite - Tasmanian Devil:
My constant brain state since this little beastie's addition may be best summarised by this official PZ tiktok: Source: https://www.tiktok.com/@planetzoogame/video/7284638678985575713

Least Favourite - North Island Brown Kiwi: I really adore every animal in this pack, but unfortunately it's a case where something has to be last and the wonderful and essential kiwi is just the least useable for me.
(I'm also sticking to the trend of not including exhibit animals, so no spectacled flying fox in the ranking. They'd be my least favourite, although I still love 'em)

Eurasia Animal Pack:
Favourite - Mute Swan:
All praise be to the mighty swan, fowl of the water. Pretty easy standout amongst Eurasia given most of the animals didn't do much for me personally.
Least Favourite - Wisent: Very important animal for Europe, but I won't use it over the American bison (even though it looks much better lol - Frontier could you please at least resize the poor old bison?).

Arctic
Favorite: Reindeer, nice to have animal, but honestly none of the Arctic animals stands out to me
Least: Arctic wolf, can hardly call it a reskin since its basicly a just a color change. And with Arctic having no exhibit animal and being the first DLC this feels especially lazy
Alternativ: Wolf definetly should have been either arctic fox or Wolverine.

SA
Favorite: Capuchin: nice to finally have a new world monkey in game
Least: Jaguar, nothing wrong with it, i just enjoy the rest more
Alternative: -

Australia
Favorite: Red kangaroo, super nice animal that was definetly missing in the game
Least: Dingo, from all the animals australia has to offer this is by far the lamest to me. I get that they needed a clone tho.
Alternative: Literally anything else

Aquatic
Favorite: Tie between penguin and seal. Just super well made and essential animals
Least: Dwarf caiman, kinda pains me to put it here but it just cant compete withe the others.
Alternative: Wouldnt change the caiman tho

SEA
Favorite: Proboscis monkey, super unique and fun inclusion. Nice to get a bigger monkey
Least: Bairds tapir, why would they put it in the wrong Continent pack lmao.
Alternative: Malayan tapir

Africa
Favorite: African penguin, among my favorite animals ingame
Least: White rhino, nothing wrong with it, i just like the others more .
Alternative: Wouldnt change it

NA
Favorite: Beaver, unique and fun inclusion
Least: Cougar, i just dont have much use for it
Alternative: Wolverine

EU
Favorite: Fallow deer, nice to finally have a normal deer
Least: Lynx, nothing wrong with it, i just like the rest more
Alternative: none

Wetlands
Favorite: Capybara, its the capybara
Least: Nile lechwe, with so many cool animals in the pack this one fallls short
Alternative: Any waterfowl or pelican would be cool

Conservation
Favorite: Siamang, wasnt amazing at launch, but with the update its super cool.
Least: Amur leopard, nothing wrong with it, i just prefer the rest.

Twilight
Favorite: Raccoon, nice to get what is to me the Essential NA zoo animal
Least: Red fox, ehhh
Alternative: Devil, kiwi

Grasslands
Favorite: Armadillo, easily among the best made animals
Least: Wildebeest, just the weakest pick imo
Alternative: Secretary

Tropical
Favorite: Fossa, nice animal, looks amazing, finally something besides lemurs for madagascar
Least: Tie between Monitor and gibbon, i just didnt need any of them
Alternative: Any NW monkey

Arid:
Favorite: Porcupine, duh
Least: Dama gazelle, doesnt do anything for me, sad to have this over other possible inclusions
Alternative: Baboon
Oceania:
Favorite: Devil, A long awaited addition that came out amazing
Least: Penguin, a rather unexciting addition for me
Alternative: Tree kangaroo, although i see why it didnt happen and the needed a simple animal like the penguin

Eurasia:
Favorite: Swan, one of the most usefull animals they ever added imo.
Least: Sloth bear, looks absolutely stunning, i just have little to no use for it
Alternative: To stay with the indian them of the bear, lion tailed macaque

Only counting habitat animals:

Arctic
Favorite | Polar bear
- essential and iconic. One of those species where if they didn’t need animals like these to sell DLCs it should’ve been base game.
Least Favorite | Arctic Wolf - I still like it and it’s grown on me, but it’s just not nearly as common as the “timber” wolf and I never really find reasonable places to use them.

South America
Favorite | Capuchin
- Less due to me liking the specific species, and more being starved for new world monkeys. It’d prolly be swapped for the anteater if we ever got more for this horribly underrepresented group.
Least Favorite | Llama - kind of the opposite of the capuchin, where I like it as an animal but it feels out of place without more of its niche. I’d like it a lot more if we had more domestics to group it with.

Australia
Favorite | Cassowary
- one of my most used animals and still one of the best looking models in the game.
Least Favorite | Koala - I still love the koala, I just like the others in this pack more, all of them were necessary. Maybe it’d be higher if it had a better model and didn’t spend so much time on the ground.

Aquatic
Favorite | Grey seal
- Is it as good as the harbor seal? No. Am I happy to have a zoo-relevant seal at all? Yes. I love seals and this guy fills me with insane amounts of serotonin.
Least Favorite | Cuvier’s Dwarf Caiman - I actually really like this guy and I thought an extra small crocodilian was essential. It’s just another case similar to Aus where I like the other animals more (at the time this pack came out, I lived near a zoo with giant otters, so didn’t share the disdain for them that others had lol). Plus, we have the spectacled caiman now so there are other options for this niche.

Southeast Asia
Favorite | Sun Bear
- The only common bear in Oceanian zoos and thus essential for me. The dhole comes close for being one of those personal favorites that I never thought we’d get.
Least Favorite | Proboscis Monkey - Now that the Malayan tapir has been fixed, someone had to take this spot. It’s one of the few animals that I’ve literally never used and often forget is in the game. Despite this, I don’t actually mind it as much as others, though maybe I’m just starved for monkeys.

Africa
Favorite | Fennec Fox
- A personal favorite and one of my most used animals. I just think they’re neat.
Least Favorite | Southern White Rhino - I struggled to choose here, and I still love the rhino. Once again, I just like the others more. Just goes to show how good this pack is species wise.

North America
Favorite | American Alligator
- Used to live in hell (Florida) and loved having these adorable guys in my yard. A personal favorite similar to the fennec. Wonderful model too.
Least Favorite | Beaver - not very common in US zoos. Still a nice addition, just the least useable for me.

Europe
Favorite | Fallow Deer
- the only species in this pack that’s really useable outside of Eurasia.
Least Favorite | Alpine Ibex - I don’t dislike it, but I just like the others more. I understand how essential the lynx was even if it’s not for me and I have a soft spot for weird little guys like the badger.

Wetlands
Favorite | Red Crowned Crane
- Maybe my most used animal in the game, though that might be a case of bird starvation. If there were more birds they probably wouldn’t be nearly as high for me (but I’d still adore them.)
Least Favorite | Nile Lechwe - I’ve only really used it once. Not a bad animal, but it feels like it’s just kinda there.

Conservation
Favorite | Siamang
- I don’t have much to say on it, it’s just a cool animal and relatively common in the regions I primarily build in (Australasia and the US). I love building for primates and wish we had more of them.
Least Favorite | Scimitar Horned Oryx - I love them, but again, I like the others more. We also have the addax now which pretty much fills the same niche while being way more common.

Twilight
Favorite | Wombat
- Essential for Aus + my bias for silly, weird little guys.
Least Favorite | Red Fox - I love canids and even I was kind of fed up with this one. The skunk has some neat mixed exhibit combos + at least some uniqueness and the raccoon is very common in Eurasian zoos. The red fox just felt completely unnecessary.

Grasslands
Favorite | Red Necked Wallaby
- God I love wallabies. They’re just so stupid looking (affectionate). If Oceania didn’t exist this would be my favorite pack. The emu comes close for being one of the most common zoo animals ever, while the maned wolf, and striped hyena do for being personal favorites.
Least Favorite | Caracal - Every animal in this pack is a banger, this one just doesn’t appeal to me as much as the others. I kind of got a little sick of cats by this point and to an extent I still am.

Tropical
Favorite | Fossa
- I have a soft spot for island fauna and these were needed for Madagascar. It’s also a good species for netted small carnivore habitats that isn’t yet another cat.
Least Favorite | Red River Hog - I can’t believe I’m saying this, I just like the others more. I actually love the water monitor, it’s a great looking animal and more options for habitat reptiles are always appreciated. I still love you RRH, this pack just slapped.

Arid
Favorite | Crested Porcupine
- It’s just a nice animal to have and the model is gorgeous. Poor guy’s back must hurt so bad from carrying this pack.
Least Favorite | Dama Gazelle - Probably would’ve liked it more if it wasn’t another ungulate in a sea of them. It’s nice as an animal but it doesn’t add much that hasn’t already been covered - which seems to be a theme in this whole pack. The sand cat comes close.

Oceania
Favorite | North Island Brown Kiwi
- This guy saved me. She’s my art professor, my dentist, my family doctor, my surgeon, my HRT provider, my everything. Literally the best animal to ever exist.

Seriously though, essential for NZ and and a unique animal for overseas Oceania sections/bird houses. Are they rare overseas? Yeah, but they’re still there lol and I’m still going to use them in my NA zoos now and then - a region I’ve seen them three separate times in. Lumping them (or really any other habitat animal in this pack) in with stuff like the saiga and proboscis monkey is absolutely insane. I don’t really view them as taking up a ground bird niche, since both behavior wise and habitat building wise they’re more like a small nocturnal mammal than anything else (they’re often called honorary mammals for a reason). When the game first launched I would have never expected NZ to get any love, but I’m so, so happy to have been wrong.

Least Favorite | Quokka - Still love it and it’s decently common in Aus, but it’s the only habitat animal in this pack I wouldn’t consider essential.

Eurasia
Favorite | Mute Swan
- Would probably be lower if we had any other waterfowl, but for now it’s one of my favorites in the whole game.
Least Favorite | Saiga - Not essential for anywhere and rare even within its own region. On top of that it does poorly in captivity. If it was a monkey, bird or another more unique group that needs every bit of representation it can get I might not be so hard on it, but it’s another unnecessary ungulate in a flood of them this year.

Arctic
1. Polar Bear (don't often use it but it's a must)
2. Reindeer
3. Dall Sheep
4. Arctic Wolf (should've been the Arctic fox, least favourite DLC species)

South America
1. Giant Anteater (a unique zoo staple)
2. Colombian White-Faced Capuchin
3. Jaguar
4. Llama (I like it but it should've been in a later domestics pack, felt like a wasted slot when SA released and we had so few South American species).

Australia
1. Southern Cassowary (gorgeous model and a bird!)
2. Red Kangaroo
3. Koala
4. Dingo (felt like really more marsupials was the way to go given this is Australia, Wombat? Tasmanian Devil? Wallaby?)

Aquatic
1. Giant Otter (Our first otter and a really unique species, more SA representation too)
2. Cuvier's Dwarf Caiman
3. King Penguin
4. Grey Seal (still like it but rarely use it)

Southeast Asia
1. North Sulawesi Babirusa (the highest quality animal in the pack, a welcome surprise at the time and a unique zoo species)
2. Binturong
3. Clouded Leopard
4. Sun Bear
5. Ussuri Dhole
6. Malayan Tapir
7. Proboscis Monkey (should've been the siamang, lar gibbon or the Sulawesi black crested macaque)

Africa
1. Meerkat (the most common zoo animal let's face it, a must)
2. Southern White Rhino
3. African Penguin
4. Fennec Fox (probably my highest ranked 'least favourite', the Africa pack just has a great roster and the fox is slightly below the rest)

North America
1. California Sea Lion (most unique animal in the pack and one of the most unique in the game, common in zoos and fun to build for)
2. Moose
3. North American Beaver
4. Arctic Fox
5. Black-Tailed Prairie Dog
6. American Alligator
7. Cougar (this pack is probably the most even for me and its really close between all 7 animals. Another time and the cougar could've be top 3. But I think, as a European builder, its the animal in the pack I use the least, and it is just another feline)

Europe
1. European Fallow Deer (Didn't expect this to be my favourite on release but very common in captivity and end up in most of my zoo builds)
2. Eurasian Lynx
3. European Badger
4. Alpine Ibex (close between the ibex and the badger, could swap them. But they're rare in UK zoos and I guess the badger works in native wildlife zoos more. Big gap between 1&2 and 3&4 though for this pack)

Wetlands
1. Capybara (Took too long to arrive, more SA representation too. Capybara and otter are far ahead of the rest of this pack)
2. Asian Small-Clawed Otter
3. Spectacled Caiman
4. Red-Crowned Crane
5. Nile Lechwe
6. Platypus
7. Wild Water Buffalo (lovely model but probably should've been domestic water buffalo given its captive status)

Conservation
1. Scimitar-Horned Oryx (This pack, like Africa, is extremely close. All four are fantastic picks and all could swap around easily. SH oryx was one of my more requested species before it's addition though)
2. Przewalski's Wild Horse
3. Siamang
4. Amur Leopard (maybe dips a fraction behind the other three for being another big cat, but like the fennec fox it's still really appreciated and probably ranks above the no.1 slots of some of the other packs)

Twilight
1. Raccoon (Fairly common in UK zoos and always nice to have more arboreal small mammals, close with skunk for same reasons, two peas in a pod)
2. Striped Skunk
3. Red Fox
4. Common Wombat (I just don't use it and think it's a bit lacklustre, actually one of my least interesting DLC species if I'm being honest, rare in captivity in the UK and it's just kind of a round brown ball with legs)

Grasslands
1. Maned Wolf (Top three here a very close and could all be number one. Maned wolf is just slightly more unique and exciting for me)
2. Emu
3. Red-Necked Wallaby
4. Caracal
5. Striped Hyena
6. Blue Wildebeest
7. Nine-Banded Armadillo (If it was a six-banded it'd probably be fourth, but this species is non-existent in uk zoos and I just don't use it as a result)

Tropical
1. Red River Hog (One of the best models in the game and one of my most requested species prior to its addition)
2. Fossa
3. Lar Gibbon
4. Asian Water Monitor (clear last place, lovely model but just a bit lacklustre. I love all three other species but when we're missing stuff like the ring-tailed coati, southern tamandua, mantled guereza, ocelot, black-capped squirrel monkey, white-faced saki, aye-aye, bush dog, black howler and Goodfellow's tree Kangaroo, its a boring choice. Wouldn't have been my first monitor choice either).

Arid
1. African Crested Porcupine (Very detailed model and very much a zoo staple like tthe meerkat, capybara and ASCO)
2. Dromedary
3. Somali Wild Ass
4. Black Rhino
5. Addax
6. Dama Gazelle
7. Sand Cat (Wasn't enamored by this inclusion. I know everyone says arid is ungulate heavy but the sand cat is the miss for me. It's okay but we have a lot of cats and of the four I'd still like, this wasn't one of them (serval, ocelot, Pallas' cat, European wildcat). Personally I think we should've gotten the serval in grasslands and the caracal in arid).

Oceania
1. Tasmanian Devil (not a huge fan of any Oceania species in the sense that they're very uncommon in Europe, but can appreciate them all as options for building zoos elsewhere. The Tasmanian Devil is just the most unique and infamous of species in the pack for me).
2. North Island Brown Kiwi
3. Little Penguin
4. Quokka (close between 3 and 4, in fact I originally wrote the Penguin as 4. But ultimately I think while the penguin is a good choice for Oceania and elsewhere, the Quokka could have been another small macropod like the Parma Wallaby or Long-Nosed Potoroo that are common both in Oceania and abroad, but they instead went for the pop culture popularity of the quokka. Makes it the bigger miss for me as has good alternatives.

Eurasia
1. Mute Swan (If I'm being honest this could probably be any of the first five, they're all solid picks but none amaze me, I think mute swan wins out because of the potential and uniqueness it brings. Very unique rig that can be used for modding, great for building free-roaming or walkthrough pond areas and another common bird in Europe.)
2. Sloth Bear
3. Wisent
4. Wolverine
5. Sichuan Takin
6. Wild Boar
7. Saiga (Have never wanted the saiga but actually don't mind it that much, they're cool and unique. Biggest downside is obviously captive presence and the fact that there are better options, also a shame it is only one coat type as they look rather different in winter).

Deluxe
Favorite: Pygmy Hippo - one of my favorite animals
Least Favorite: Thomson's Gazelle - still a good addition, but it doesn't top either of the other animals

Arctic
Favorite: Polar Bear - I mean, c'mon
Least Favorite - Arctic Wolf - standard reskin of the pack

South America
Favorite: Giant Anteater - A very unique animal that holds a special place in my heart
Least Favorite: Llama - I like this animal, but something has to be last

Australia
Favorite: Southern Cassowary - Another bird for the game and this one happens to be one of my favorite animals
Least Favorite: Dingo - Same situation as SA pack, I like the Dingos inclusion, but since it's a clone I'll put it at last

Aquatic
Favorite: King Penguin - ITS A PENGUIN
Least Favorite: Cuvier's Dwarf Caiman - A crocodilian can never beat out the first pinniped and otter

Southeast Asia
Favorite: Binturong - Super unique arboreal creature
Least Favorite: Proboscis Monkey - Very rare in captivity and since the Malayan Tapir has been fixed the monkey moves down

Africa
Favorite: Southern White Rhino - Really needed IMO, but Meerkat is a close second
Least Favorite: Fennec Fox - Still good, but not as useful as the other three animals

North America
Favorite: California Sea Lion - Really tough to choose for this pack, but the sea lion barely gets the edge
Least Favorite: Black-tailed Prarie Dog - Just not as good as the other animals in this pack

Europe
Favorite: Eurasian Lynx - Very much needed for European rep.
Least Favorite: European Fallow Deer - The weakest animal of the pack, but still great

Wetlands
Favorite: Capybara - Were you expecting anything else
Least Favorite: Spectacled Caiman - Another crocodilian, doesn't add much to the game

Conservation
Favorite: Siamang - Games first Gibbon!
Least Favorite: Scimitar-Horned Oryx - Great conservation story, but I just can't put it above the leopard or the horse

Twilight
Favorite: Red Fox - This pack fills out most of the small mammals from NA, and this is without a doubt the most needed
Least Favorite: Striped Skunk - still great for NA but much less useful for me

Grasslands
Favorite: Maned Wolf - SA rep. and it's such a wonderful and unique animal
Least Favorite: Blue Wildebeest - I like having a better wildebeest model, but it should have been another antelope

Tropical
Favorite: Fossa - Found at my local zoo and a very popular animal
Least Favorite: Asian Water Monitor - the clone of the pack

Arid
Favorite: African Crested Porcupine - Finally!!!
Least Favorite: Dama Gazelle - Not what I would have picked

Oceania
Favorite: Tassie Devil - Again I say...Finally!!!!
Least Favorite: Quokka - Not present in at all in the US, but it's still adorable

Eurasia
Favorite: Takin - I've been advocating for this animal since the beta, and it happens to be my all-time favorite animal!!
Least Favorite: Wild Boar - I'm really happy for all the people that wanted it, I won't use it as much, but it is still a great addition to the game.

Arctic Pack

1. Least favorite: arctic wolf, redundante. Should've been the arctic fox instead or the musk ox.
2. Favorite: Polar bear. Iconic, was very needed. Looks good.

South América

1. Least favorite: Llama, i still like it and defend it's inclusion but out of the four habitat animals is the one i like the least i guess.
2. Favorite: Jaguar. My favorite big cat.

Australia

1. Least favorite: Dingo. I mean is the least unique. We later got other Australian icons so is fine that we got it but is still just a dog.
2. Favorite: Cassowary. Even today is still one of the best looking animals. Is also really cool bird.

Aquatic

1. Least favorite: Cuvier's dwarf caiman. It looks pretty but i always choose the spectacled caiman over it.
2. Favorite: hard tie between Gian otter and grey seal. So unique both of them and i was just beyond happy that we got the Gian otter. The seals are also very cute and fun to watch.

South East Asia

1. Least favorite: dhole. Just a Dingo clone at first, now it has a more unique model, but is still the less interesting animals of the bunch.
2. Favorite: clouded leopard without a doubt. One of the best looking cats in game and now is fixed 🎉

África:

1. Least favorite: fenec fox. I don't hate dogs i swear. I love them. I have one as pet lol but out of the roster is the one i choose. I still love them. They are fun and cute.
2. Favorite: meerkats! One of my favorite animals irl, they are so good and i was so happy to see them for the game. Super entertaining to play with, cute animations and they introduced digging.

North América

1. Least favorite: moose. Don't get me wrong it looks very cool, is just the least useful for me. I prefer other deer.
2. Favorite: californian sea lion. Different enough from the seals and still fun to build for and watch.

Europe:

1. Least favorite: none? I love them all. I think is one of those few scenery packs with a perfect roster.
2. Favorite: Eurasian lynx. Our first small(ish) cat and still the best looking cat in the game.

Wetlands

1. Least favorite: Nile lechwe. Like, why? SO niche. Waterbuck and Pére David deer were better options for a wetlands ungulates.
2. Favorite: Capybara ofc. So chill and cool. And very needed. Essential zoo animal. Platypus comes close though.

Conservation

1. Least favorite: amur leopard. See i can dislike cats too lol i mean it looks fine... Never really looked like an amur leopard to me and besides the resting animation in the logs is pretty much just another Big cat clone.
2. Favorite: Prezwalsky horse. It was at the time one of my most wanted animals for the game and the delivered. The lip animations and the overall design is so good.

Twilight

1. Least favorite: skunk. Sorry is just boring. Doesn't even have a spray animation and it just drags it's tail.
2. Favorite: trully it was the egyptian fruits bat (the only reason i bought this pack), but since we got the spectacled flying fox and i've seen the raccoon in action i have to say now is the raccoon (funny right? I was very anti raccoon for the game lol i still think this whole pack is underwhelming and probably the worst one in my eyes but the raccoon have grown on me)

Grasslands

1. Least favorite: striped hyena. Never really cared about it making it into the game or not. Is fine, just not something i use a lot.
2. Favorite: the nine-banded armadillo. It was the porcupine of the this pack. So unique and detailed. And very useful for both SA and NA sections.

Tropical

1. Least favorite: AWM. Is fine. Looks better than the Nile monitor, but i would've prefer a bird and for now it can't even climb.
2. Favorite: gibbons. I love gibbons. They are so fun.

Arid

1. Least favorite: the sand cat. Yes all the ungulates come before the sand cat for me, they all look that good. The somalí wild ass was close to being the bottom one though since i never really cared about wild asses in general but it looks great.
2. Favorite: african crested porcupine. Duh.

Oceania

1. Least favorite: quokka? I mean this is another pack in which i love all animals, even the quokka ( and i also love them irl), but we have to choose one and it was the least interesting of the bunch. Still super cute.
2. Favorite: kiwi. Despite being another ratite it felt as unique as the swan in the Eurasia pack. Maybe more niche but was necessary for NZ rep. And also is wonderfully designed.

Eurasia

1. Least favorite: saiga. Sure great model, cool no se. Still just there because of that. Most of the time i will have no use for them. Even though i still think the wisent was just anniversary material i can see myself using it more than the saiga.
2. Favorite: the mute swan. Finally a waterfowl, a new bird rig and it is great. Here is for more waterfowls to come! 🥂
