What is your view on microtransactions for credits?

I find myself agreeing with you Cheknov, and I find it disturbing. I may need to rethink my stance on this. Im gonna go meditate.

You guys do realize that even if this came into play you dont have to buy the credits, what one person does with his money will not affect another, this game is not a highly pvp game and alot of people play in groups and solo so what does it matter if i spent $10 and bought credits would gladly do it and would have spent about $100 just in the last two weeks lol, which would help pay for future expansion for you!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately while you having the credits wouldn't affect us, the shame contained within your player save for being so bad at the game you had to buy credits would crash the servers.

One thing that will drive people away from this game quicker than anything is making it a pay to win, and make no mistake, you allow credits to be bought with real money and it will be just that. And it most certainly will effect the way the game is played in Open game. It impacts games like EVE, and War Thunder. So no....Frontier can make lots of money offering us a myriad of other things to purchase - that don't have an impact on the game play.

what about the fact that i dont like trading and bnothing compares to the credits you earn doing it? "play my way" huh dosnt feel like it seems like play space trulkers 3300 and then when you grind enough you can play your way.

Most of us payed well over AAA prices for this game. The game is p2p so server costs should be negligible. Far less then that of an actual mmo. Their is no reason to implement f2p style micro transactions other then greed.
If FD wants more of my money they should make an expansion worth paying for after they get the base game to an acceptable state.

'well over'? how much are AAA games these days I don't play them anymore

League of Legends really doesn't have progression. It's just a battle arena where you play the same couple of maps over and over again.

This is totally a fair point and I have nothing to dispute it. Again I dont really have a strong opinion either way on this particular subject, I just saw an opportunity for a snappy one liner and took it. :D

So what you're saying is you don't want to play the game the way it's designed and are not only prepared to buy the game anyway but also pay to avoid playing it?

A few people have already said but it is worth repeating, so I'm repeating it...
Buying credits would affect everyone's game, not just the credit purchasers.

Microtransactions affect overall game design. In this case, prices get higher. Even with cosmetics ... well, I am a noob so I may have missed it, but are there ANY skins available for in game money?

Except they would loose a lot more in the long run. Pretty much every MMO that has tried the "pay-to-win" model has failed, because the majority of online gamers hate it. The game and the developer's reputation instantly go down the toilet, also destroying any future they may have.

There are many games, specifically from Asia and in the Mobile space which would disagree with that statement. ;)
