What kind of astrology phenomenon is this yellow dot?

Hello,

when i fly from the Bubble towards Sothis i always see this yellow dot and i wonder what kind of astrology phenomenon is it? I already checked the Galaxy Map

A nebula? LBN 623 maybe?

Don't know about what it is, but term "astrology" is certainly wrong. Astrology is about divining from stars, so kind of jumble of pseudo-science and superstition. Astronomy is that real science, so what kind of astronomical phenomenom that is would be right term.

Rephrasing 777Driver, the term your looking for astronomical. Astrology is deciphering the messages from extraterrestrial fortune cookies.
Besides the ikelihood of a plan. neb., it might also be a ship in supercruise from a head-on perspective.

Looks like a planetary nebula, you can check the galmap to confirm
This.
One of the most astonishing moments in my Elite life has been finding the clockwork nebula en route to Colonia by chance.
I just saw a similar (albeit blue) haze and just went there to check out.

Do it, it's cool if you realize all you can see there in the stars is really there. Wonders of the stellar forge.

Its not "that nebula" from a certain angle is it?
Do you mean Shumath-Ghun, Black Nebula? I believe explorers have to drink every time its name is invoked. I don't visit exploration forums very often, and haven't been to the Inner Orion Spur for a while. Probably need to ask Wilbur Whateley about the astrological meaning of this.

Na its the one from the starting credits of TNG. Everybody see it and askes what it is cause its about 5 big bright stars all in row. Its all pink when you get there. Probably not eh? :)
