What kind of game would you like to see from Frontier in the future?

With Frotier's fun&sweet graphics and animatons top of my list would be these ones:

1.Theme Hospital: This game was one of the best tycoon games for me. They had a fun way approach to a serious theme. From Bloaty Head and Slack Tongue to King Complex and the way they cure them, I'd love to see this one from Frontier.

2. Zoo Tycoon: Tons of Animals in Frotier Style, I can only imagine something like this:

Zoo Tycoon is already Frontier style, as Frontier developed it. ;)

Agree to Station Mayor (Station Manager). What a fun for all those who want to rule a station.
Most coolness can be achieved by interaction of those Station results back to E:D BGS. Start for a minor faction
on a tiny outpost and if doing right ending up at Abraham Lincoln at Sol.
Only thing might be limited number of stations so expanding the bubble will be needed. 50.000 station are available today.

I don't have any Xbox console so I haven't played it. But I've watched some gameplay videos about it and it looks more like you place complete buildings and they automatically connect with each other which kill The Tycoon spirit. In my first post I meant like original, old school Zoo Tycoon game but in New Frontier Style (with Planet Coster physics, animations&graphics).:)

Given that they are investing in Lost Wind by releasing bubble heads in Elite Dangerous, I suspect Lost Wind 3 will be Frontier third game aiming at a much large audience than their space game and theme park simulator. I may be very wrong.
The outsider game would be awesome, I suspect however Frontier doesn't own the IP for that.

But they developed the Outsider themselves from scratch so why wouldn't they own the IP? I regret to say though, I think that ship has sailed...

Personally though I would like to see Lost Winds 3 as well (just bought them again on Steam, thanks Frontier!), a Simcity style game with Planet Coaster style building customization :) and perhaps a Zarch/Virus reboot.

I dont ask for much ;)

The Outsider had a publisher, Codemasters, it at all unusual for the publisher to take full control of the IP in return for publishing the game, in many cases they and not the developer retain control of the IP even if the game is cancelled.

True, but my understanding of what happened was that Codemasters didnt go through with the deal leaving Frontier to try getting it published elsewhere. I heard that it ended up at EA where they were interested in turning it into a Bourne game but with all the restructuring that EA went through just afterwards it fell by the wayside.

See above for one example (there are many) of this story about this. (Please correct me if I am wrong Frontier!)

The Outsider did look like it would have been amazing,
Talking of games I want Frontier to make though - I really want them to make the game described in the DDF. Maybe that ship has sailed like The Outsider, or maybe ED will turn into that somehow even though it looks like it is going in a completely different direction.
Fingers Crossed.

If I was trying to sell the Cobra engine to third parties I would be looking at an FPS style game to show the versatility of the engine.

Another vote for single-player, offline Elite. Nothing more. :7

...anyway; I kind of wonder whether Microsoft may be tapping Frontier for a hololens adaptation of that old petting zoo kinect game.

They aren't doing games for third parties anymore, so such a decision would be a major departure from their business plan.
