Hardware & Technical What mouse do you use?

The Corsair M-60. After running through a couple of Deathadders playing FPS games I decided to give the M-60 a go as I was intrigued by the"Sniper" button. I found that I didn't like the slow down very much but it worked great to jack up the DPI very high and spin the tank turret around.

The adjustable DPI was nice as well. It's lasted me far longer than any mouse I've ever had. I use them T1600m FCS HOTAS along with the Thrustmaster pedals to fly. It all works very well with my Rift.

Just to show some non-Logitech colour - I use a Micro$oft Comfort Mouse - tried loads of others, keep coming back to this as I find it really comfortable and love the buttons.

likewise, i just use the plain old Microsoft Comfort mouse - by choice, i have others which are more impressive but i always ended back up on these ones.

in truth i would prefer the old now-discontinued MS 'Wheel Mouse' - the beige and transparent optical one which was super common years ago - but the Comfort is an ok substitute

Mad Catz R.A.T. 7 user here too! Loving it and have had no problems with it, during the few years I've owned it. I might be stretching my luck here, I just bought Saitek x-56 Rhino...

I've used Deathadder for over 5 years and only recently retired it for Deathadder Elite. Same thing, but with some small tweaks and improvements. As we all know small details make all the difference. It's got absolutely perfect shape for me.
I think their software is quite decent. I've never thought that tweaking sensor liftoff height could make such a difference :)
Overall, I think Deathadder is all about functional simplicity. It doesn't have a million buttons, 20 modes to switch on the fly, modular panels, weights or any of that. What it's got is very lovely materials, best switches I've tried, arguably one of the best if not the best sensors available(debatable, since most of the potential isn't really used in any practical capacity), and just a nice solid feel. Also, it's not flashy or in your face in terms of looks.

I just wish rest of their peripherals were as good. Their keyboards just feel a bit flimsy compared to some of the stuff from Corsair for example.

Or perhaps a Naga.

I use a Logitech G700s wireless on my laptop and a UtechSmart Venus (a Razer Naga clone) on my desktop. I'd have bought another Naga (the sensor went after about five years of use), but the Venus is less than half the price and identical in form and function.

Ah fair enough. I didn't know that there was a leftie Naga. :)

I use a £9 thing from Amazon.
Lol

It's brilliant. Dropped, sat on, kicked loads of times. Still works. :)
Very precise, good range, doesn't get much interference at longer ranges.
Perfect considering I use it from the sofa. :)
(Hence why it gets sat on)

Brought a Trust one from Tesco for my work laptop... It lasted 2 hours. Returned it. Second one lasted 2 days. Lol

I use the Kensington Orbit trackball for most things. But in Elite I just use my Joystick and keyboard, and the mouse for selecting menus and stuff.
