What other games are we all playing?

Twilight Struggle, $3.99. Stardew Valley, $8.99. Space Engine, $17.99. Star Trucker, $18.74. American Truck Simulator- Texas Pack (TX, NM), $16.73. Sea Power, $45.

Should I go for lots of cheap little games, or shoot it off in one salvo?

If I'm up against a Kirov, it's use it, or lose it. Sovremenny's and Udaloys just suck with those Sunburn missiles. Ouch!

Depends on the type of games that you want to play. Some open world games have lots of hours of gameplay.

I've gone back to running around Uncharted 4: Legacy of thieves collection...since I'm enjoying the new Indy game. It seems to have sparked a need for adventure/puzzle games. I first played Uncharted on the PS4 a few years ago but grabbed it on Steam when Sony took the exclusivity chains off it...absolutely class game through and through.

I've also fired up Kindom come: Deliverance in anticipation of the second episode appearing on February 4th. I'd forgotten how good a game this is...and also how difficult the combat is, I'm being moidered a fair bit :D

Having a crack at Diablo IV at the moment. Currently free to try for ten days on battle.net.
Still a bit ambivalent about it, but at least I've got plenty of time to try it out.

I did that, too. Trying to do the monastery "properly". If I ever do it again it'll be murderknife in the dark right away.

Off to Satisfactory now - I have not explored the 1.0 release, yet.

Fired up LotR: Return to Moria, as it was free this week from Epic. And got lost in it, those ruins and halls of stone are epic! Really well made. Plus, you can create your own dwarf! 🤠

O7,

I’ve just resubbed to the Luke Ross VR mod again after its latest update - some cool new additions like working DLSS, view optimisations, and other black magic trickery means that compatible games now look and perform massively better. I’ve started Cyberpunk 2077 again from the start as I’ve been waiting since Phantom Liberty released to try all the new stuff like vehicle combat. Absolutely preem in VR now!

Just "finished" Nier Automata. Got about 80% of the way through it and realised I probably wouldn't be able to complete it (due to a combination of frustration and lack of gaming skill... !)
So watched a youtube walkthrough for the last of it. The plot is typical futuristic anime JRPG weird-ness; so pretty hard to follow everything that gets revealed.
Then watched another youtube vid that just focussed on the plot. Definitely appreciate it more now; but it was a bit of a strange one.

Next up, hopefully something with a good plot that isn't so complicated ;) (- probably Dead Space...).
