What panels should look like in VR

Best VR game? Pushing VR to it's limits?

Is this a serious response?

It used to be good, three years ago, but now it's far behind the curve. You can't even use your hands to interact with the cockpit.

And as far as wanting it to look like immature trash; of course the color scheme would change and the design would have to revamped to fit ED. But look how close and accessible that panel is, and the text is clear and readable. I don't have to wrench my head around to see the panel, and if ED implements space hands then it would be something we could actually click.

Yeah, but there are plenty of VR games where you can't interact, for a variety of reasons, so please do elaborate why it is 'far behind' because that seems like a bit of an exaggeration, also remember many other VR games do not have the amount of content elite has, and it is extremely difficult to balance because elite is also a non vr game.

Make it up? This is the line here:

Maybe you could explain what "All these CMDR's should not be abandoned like some of ED's gameplay" means if it doesn't mean or suggest that you believe FD have or are abandoning VR? The sentence as I read it: the "CMDR's" are "VR players" and by them being "abandoned" you are implying that VR has been abandoned which you then liken to "some of ED's gameplay" which you feel has been abandoned...

Do you honestly not get it?? I have one gathering dust, not due to a bad experience (as explained) but due to nothing of worth actually supporting the device. Nothing of worth supports the device because the userbase is tiny... This is not difficult stuff.

Well done on the third thread about UI panels btw.
No, you are suggesting that FD is abandoning VR. I said all these CMDR's should not be abandoned. You know what happens when you assume, right?

And Leap Motion is not a commercial product. I'm sorry you bought it with that assumption. And there are programs that support it. One that readily comes to mind is XPlane 11.

If you're not a developer then you probably should resell it.

Dude, serious question. Are you high?

I have shown you a quote from your original post a number of times now, where you state exactly what you are now claiming that you have never stated, those are your words not mine. I have not once in this thread said, implied or otherwise hinted that FDEV are or are planning to abandon VR. Please do show me the post or posts from this thread which give you this impression.

Again, here is you stating that you feel FDEV are or have abandoned VR.

FD needs to give VR more attention. A lot of people bought VR headsets because ED supports VR and they wanted the full experience. All these CMDR's should not be abandoned like some of ED's gameplay.

Now please, if you feel there is something being misinterpreted from that sentence explain exactly what you meant by it. Before you play the "I don't have to" card again, you are right - you don't have to, but if you can't or simply will not I and other people reading this will just have to assume you are spouting nothing but biowaste and intentionally dodging the subject so you don't have to backtrack.

I said all these CMDR's should not be abandoned.

You originally referred to the people who bought VR Headsets for Elites VR support, then reference the same people as CMDRs. Now how exactly can the people who bought VR Headsets, the "CMDR's" be abandoned if you do not believe VR development and progress is being abandoned? Both are mutually exclusive to each other.

Here are your words again so they can sink in.

FD needs to give VR more attention. A lot of people bought VR headsets because ED supports VR and they wanted the full experience. All these CMDR's should not be abandoned like some of ED's gameplay.

Also for the final time, now please read this carefully:

I have no issue with Leap Motion, I do not feel any regret about my purchase, I have no expectation to see it implemented in any VR game, I do not feel that it not being supported by a particular title is an indication that the developer of said title is abandoning VR support. I am happy for the device to sit in my drawer gathering dust and just as happy to take it from said drawer if something merits me doing so.

Hopefully the above is as clear as day, anyone with half a brain cell cannot interpret the above paragraph in any other way than it is intended unless intentionally doing so for the sake of argument.
