It upsets me that you rather see those abominations back then things like Therizinosaurus and Protoceratops. You seem to be really hoping that the Dr. Wu hybrids don't come back. What about them upsets you?

All of those species are great ideas and I think more likely than not to be added at some point through DLC (except Archelon- they might keep the marine reptiles to ichthyosaurs/plesiosaurs/mosasaurs). Remember the base game of JWE 1 only had 37 species and we made it all the way to 68.I’m at least happy I got my Amargasaurus, but the rest of the roster is an uninspired mess to me.
Yes, things like Quetzalcoatlus and Oviraptor are probably added in the movie-update, but other than that, o boy.
No Tapejara, Elasmosaurus, Liopleurodon, Archelon...
Making the flying and swimming department rather strange and unfinished for me.
No Therizinosaurus, Deinoncheirus, Gigantoraptor, Crylophosaurus, dinos many fans asked for.
Then, the small dino-department is really underwhelming, no Minmi, Protoceratops, Psittacosaurus, Hypsilophodon, Heterodontosaurus, Lesothosaurus, haven’t seen Troodon back yet. I know America is addicted to big things (ugh ugh, Godzilla, Rex, Cthullu) but give the small some love please!
Also all of those hybrids coming back is an insane choice, most of those were on most peoples least-liked lists. If something should be limited to expansion it would be the ugly hybrids, not things like Mamenchisaurus, Kentrosaurus or Styracosaurus.
I don't care to see an unfeathered Therizinosaurus, Deinocheirus, or Gigantoraptor.
Wow very interesting. I've had that thought before regarding modern elephants and rhinos being hairless. But mammoths were also large and covered in fur. That being said mammoths lived in climates much colder than those present in the Mesozoic. There are more points towards those animals having little to no feathers than there are to them being fuzzy. Here's a blog post by the reputable palaeonthologist and palaeoartist Mark Witton, going over this topic in depth and discussing animals like therizinosaurus, deinocheirus and even giant ground sloths. http://markwitton-com.blogspot.com/2019/10/megafuzz-under-microscope-how-credible.html
Gigantoraptor isn't mentioned, but it also would likely be mostly featherless. However, it is speculated that it at least kept the long wing feathers, because of the breeding bevhaviour of oviraptorids.
All of this being said, the Tyrannosaurus is feathered in the beginning sequence of Dominion. So if they're going to be adding a feathered Tyrannosaurus via a Dominion DLC, I'd hope they add the option for other large coelurosaurs like Therizonosaurus to be feathered. I hope they make it like a cosmetic gene or a pattern that could be turned on/off.
I hope you're right.True, a feather gene would be neat. And I have a strong theory it will be coming. Not just for the movie accuracy for Dominion's animals, but also because of dimorphodon. In all footage of dimorphodon we've seen so far, she lacks the pyncofibres. Which is a really odd design choice. Either those haven't been added in that early a build, or, well, they're optional.
Yep. That'd be nice. You know what else would be neat on the topic of feathers? Tail quills on some of the ornithischians. I know, those have only been found on smaller and/or more basal animals like psittacosaurus and tianyulong, but they're still plausible for larger animals and are pretty cool.I hope you're right.
I also hope that they add a feathering option for the all the smaller coelurosaurs. It would be weird to have a feathered Rex, which we know wasn't completely feathered, but a scaly Velociraptor, which we know was feathered. I'm not expecting the dinosaurs to be paleo-accurate, but it would be more immersive to at least have that option, at least for all of the coelurosaurs.
An unlikely addition, I would say.Worms
Booooo rubbish, come onAn unlikely addition, I would say.
