Newcomer / Intro What specs do I need for Ultra settings in 1440p?

I just bought a new PC with the below specs:
* Intel Core i5 4690K 3,5 GHz, 6MB
* MSI GeForce GTX 980 Gaming
* Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) CL9 1600Mhz

This I hoped would be enough to run the game in Ultra settings 1440p, but it's not. At best I can run it in High settings in 1080p. Now, I'm curious. What machine would it take to run it in 1440p Ultra?

Yes odd, I have an i7, but a worse graphics card (780 ti) and I'm getting a steady 100 plus fps on ultra at 1920 by 1080.

Not that there is much to see, it's hardly as visual as something like far cry 4.

Ok, I'm sorry, but I'm a . I had the display port connected to the wrong graphics card. Now Ultra is flowing smoothly in 1440p.
