What Starcluster is this?

I was just waiting around the Haz RES in Fedmich to spawn some cannon fodder , when i spotted a Starcluster, i've never seen (or probably rather "noticed") before. Can anyone tell me, what that is? It looks kind of interesting and i tried to extrapolate what that is...but the Jumprange on my combat fittet python is apparently not good enough to mark one of those Stars.

Those seven Stars (Seven Veils...[wacky] I think i'm going Crazy...) just inside the marker that look like...well, kind of a phallus symbol.

Here's a drinking game for the exploration subforum. If you have any suggestions for new rules, by all means post them!

Drink a shot of your drink of choice (default: tea) every time when:
...
- "What are those strange lights in the distance?" (Usually turns out they are NGC 7822)

I'd try NGC 7822... search S171 7 in the galaxy map, single selct it, and you'll have a destination marker when exiting the galaxy map... i think the general direction might fit.

could be something much closer, too - Alkaid, tabir etc. might line up in the same way. again: check as above.

That is definitely NGC 7822 - that grouping is rather obvious. Yes you are too far away for any nebulosity to be displayed (probably) but that is what it is.

NGC 7822 is not visible from Fedmich, or anywhere in the Bubble. What you're looking at is most likely one of the other gas giants (plus moons) in the system.

Hmm... I just had a peek and I think you are correct, I could not see the asterism from NLTT 13249, no matter how dark the sky became, although I am quite sure I was lined up with it. I stand corrected.
