Powerplay What the hell, Alliance Enforcer??

Did the Alliance declare war on the Federation recently or something? I know I'm friendly with Federation, but I'm still showing neutral with Alliance. But when I jumped into an Alliance system an Alliance Enforcer Anaconda interdicted my Type-6 and blew me away with no warning or anything. Are Consumer Goods illegal in the Alliance now? He didn't even give me a cargo scan or anything, just opened fire.

I've got no Bounties anywhere, wasn't carrying illegal goods or anything.

They are mad because they don't have any special military ships, and that the Federation and Empire get all the fun community goals while they don't get anything. Also, Empire bias.

doesn't matter if you're in alliance terratory. if you're PP. you'll get RNG Independent, Alliance, and probably Imperial enforcers interdict you, even 300 ly away in the bubble
Doesn't mean it's war, just some auxiliary autonomous hot head deciding to have some fun. Generally not worth the 200-400 bounty either...

OK, it probably was the Powerplay thing. It just confused me because it said Alliance Enforcer. If it was some random name, or Otherpowerguy Enforcer I wouldn't have been confused. I got interdicted again last night carrying 104t of Palladium, but the Alliance Enforcer was flying an Eagle instead of an Anaconda, so I just shifted out.

Alliance Enforcer, Kumo Crew Watch, Utopian Overseer, Federal Agent, Torval Shield, Patreus Sentinel, there are few more...these are all PP NPCs and if you are not aligned via your Power Player or Major Faction they will most likely attack. Get used to it. PP = about 50% more interdictions in case there weren't already enough for you.

This, I blame modern eduction.

Mom tells "you are special" --> realising its not true --> random tantrums

But what sucks about the system currently is that even deep in your own PP faction (even the capital) you get interdicted by these people. Which is complete nonsense.

Oh sorry, we should all accept that the Empire is the only one who will get a story line, dedicated commodities that also happen to be the most profitable one and the best multipurpose ships.

Hmm...how about no? What kind of education do you refer to where people enjoy being treated as plebs and it got somehow tainted by "modern education" that spoiled people to demand to be treated equally?

Oh yes...the one that would be required to sympathize with the Imperial structure and status quo...

The ONLY faction that behaves the way you describe are the Imperials, who have been asking FD to do everything for them. The Alliance has been working their ASSES off to achieve things and they demand the rewards of those efforts.

No, I don't. Because it's usual for the benefited ones to act pompous, then claim that others should just behave when they ask for what's due.
Sorry Apos, I respect the work the Alliance does, but throwing a tantrum after Lily saying "tantrum" was comedy gold!
I threw a massive tantrum myself on a few forums this morning over the LFT 37 CG. Glad I cooled off...As far as a rebuttal, I enjoy a good debate about the Alliance in PP but this is not the OP's intention I'm guessing. Have a good day!

Well, you can fly deep into their territory, I don't see why they can't fly deep into yours. Would be nice if friendly reinforcements would show up pretty quick but I have as of yet to see that happen. Maybe I just kill them too fast for the Defense Force to show up and help.

There comes a point where "be a good boy and you'll get rewarded eventually" stops being funny, to the point of triggering.

"Maybe you should be more polite"
"Maybe more patient"
"Maybe more X, more Y and more Z"

Well, we've been all of that already, it's not like our annoyances started last week. The whole "politeness" card is getting annoying, especially when I always see it being used from the benefiting side of things.

And for all intents and purposes, the only people I see being rewarded so far are the ones who lie and deceive about their achievements and their influence in the game.

And Lily's reply is very much an insult in itself. An indirect one but an insult nevertheless.
