Don’t forget that in England we are still in GMT until 27th March when we switch to British Summer Time when we put the clocks forward. The US and Canada changed their clock to DST (Daylight Saving Time) today so that are only between 4 and 7 hours behind rather than the usual between 5 and 8 hours behind for the next couple of weeks.
I think that Europe changes their clocks on the same date as the UK, so that they are always the same amount of time ahead of us all the time.
