Play the game - go and see things, do some missions, explore etc. This is the point of the game
BGS impact where nerfed for EDO because they had too much impact on anarchy. If you are not involved in BGS or planetary exploration (exobiology) - then indeed, EDO does not offer a lot in terms of game loops.
There is a very limited number of mission types, a limited number of settlements layouts and the really cramped inventory does make material storage a real chore.
But if you are into BGS, you can now support your faction on-foot not only on-ship. This ads quite a degree of variance.
Edit: i would not count on extra EDO content. IT was marketed as a single DLC, all in one take, as opposed to the Seasons run by Horizons.

Perhaps a specialist can shine on that, but it would be probably more valuable to work BGS in space instead.
Considering their response when asked about there being no gameplay to long apex journeys was "we hope with more cosmetics for the loadout screen you will have more to do" (paraphrasing) yes.... Yes it apparently does...mI guess cosmetics count as content.![]()
I would say, stop grinding for a start. Enjoy the game, do missions, explore, join Community Goals. Pick a faction and or minor faction and make them stronger, help a minor faction take control of a system and it will give you more satisfaction once you unlock on engineer or achieve something rather then grinding for it.Hello everyone, and good day....
I've been wondering if there will be any content to use what we grinded for all this long. (perhaps when the game becomes available to consoles?!)
Is there any "rumours"/"leaks"/"official" news about it?
We unlock engineers, upgrade suits, "visiting" settlements.... what then? What will be the practical in game application of such endeavor in a near future, rather than facilitating the grind itself?
Tnx in advance!
