What will our race be known as ?

I was just wondering what our race in game would be called...From other cultures point of view

Back in the old sci-fi days we were Earthlings ( Yawn !! ) in movies etc..
Then Later in Star trek and other Sci-Fi movies and books we were upgraded and classed as Terran ...And the Milky way became "The Terran System" by other Alien cultures ( Much Cooler really )

or will we just be the Human Race in any part of the Galaxy ?

Possibly solians.... Or maybe it will get lost in translation from all the talk about 'our solar system' while pointing at a map, and we'll be known as 'r-solians'.

On the basis that the other sentient race is called 'Thargoid', I think that we would be called 'Humanoid'.

And seeing as we are 'Humans', they must be 'Thargs'.

Hmmm... humanoid is something that has an appearance which resembles a human being. Androids are humanoid, and designed to look as much like a real human as possible, but androids are not 'Andros'.

Any name that refers to Earth, Sol or any other name thought up by the Human race has to be off limits surely since the other races will have labelled us as they see us and not as we see ourselves?
