The only problem I could see with Tamandua is that you could argue the bench is an over stylized Giant Anteater. I think tamandua would bring much needed Central and/or South American representation AND it would be nice to have a second anteater. IMO
So what I'd like to see in Anniversary picks if I limited it to top 10 desires is the list below with similar in-game species in parentheses.
  1. Sumatran Tiger (Bengal or Siberian Tiger)
  2. Sloth Bear* (Sun Bear)
  3. American Black Bear* (Himalayan or Grizzly Bear)
  4. Bat-eared Fox (Fennec or Red Fox)
  5. Greater Rhea (Ostrich or Emu)
  6. Fishing Cat (Clouded Leopard)
  7. Pallas' Cat (Sand Cat? or Lynx)
  8. Serval (Caracal)
  9. American Badger (European Badger)
  10. North American Elk (Red Deer)
*I think the spectacled bear would be saved for a big DLC animal. Sloth and Black bears are still nice to have in game though.

For the American Black Bear you even do not have to go to the Brown Bears. I mean we already have the Moon Bear (Asian/Formosan Black Bear) which would be the obvious choice as base animal 😃. Except the Sumatran Tiger I would celebrate all your proposed animals (but in the end a free animal is a free animal and I would also celebrate the Sumatran Tiger) but personally I really do prefer everything else over any subspecies of already in game existing species (and in case of the Tiger we even have 2 subspecies).

One question because of language barrier: What do you mean with "the Bench is an over stylized Giant anteater"? I think they will probably do a good Job with it and it is quite different to the Giant Anteater. Much smaller and more than less an aboreal animal. I would find its integation great, too. But I really do not see it as an anniversary animal. I do not know but it seems to me as an animal which needs way too much effort as a present (Same goes for Secretary Bird)

Edit: My actual Top 10 I See as realistic choices (No further subspecies from existing animals included and Not urgently my favourite animals):
1. Blackbuck
2. Grey Crowned Crane
3. American Black Bear
4. Wild Boar
5. Serval
6. Barbary Macaque
7. Wisent
8. Second Flamingo species
9. Grevy Zebra
10. Greater Rhea

Honorable mention: Any bigger Deer species Like Pere Davids Deer or American Elk but as we already got a Deer Last year I doubt we will get another one this year.

I think Raccoon Dog could be a shout, it would probably be able to use the fox rig, is decently popular but not too popular and is also one of the most common canids in zoos. Plus, we haven't had any canids this year and if it keeps this way it could be way to put one in since we all know how much Frontier likes canids at this point.
