What's Behind your Username?

Have had my username (or minor variations when it’s already been taken) for years… character from Douglas Adams’s book: Dirk Gently’s holistic detective agency…

The Electric Monk was a labour-saving device, like a dishwasher or a video recorder. Dishwashers washed tedious dishes for you, thus saving you the bother of washing them yourself, video recorders watched tedious television for you, thus saving you the bother of looking at it yourself; Electric Monks believed things for you, thus saving you what was becoming an increasingly onerous task, that of believing all the things the world expected you to believe.
If you haven’t read it you should. It’s great.

Makes sense. Actually, I don't mind people knowing my 1st name, also. My name is Lucas, so I've gotten a lot of nicknames around it, some have been usernames:
  1. Lucas Pelucas
  2. Luke the Duke
  3. Luke the Puke
  4. Lukey Dookie

That's real cool. We have another storywriter here

The quoll is cool and the name itself is awesome. I just love to say quoll. Didn't know chuditch was another name, though

Britches is actually a funny word, so it's funny to see somebody talk about britches
Well I'm happy to be acquainted with you Lucas. Now I feel wierdly like I know to much about you considering I've seen a vid of you eating brownies. I haven't seen any vids of my friends eating brownies so it wierd lol.

Anyway my user name I just came with one day and now I'm always named this online. But yes, indeed I think it's a good name.

I came up with this username the first time I played an online game for which I had to make an account to play. In elementary school, my best friend introduced me to Wizard 101, a popular online game. When I had to make a character, I had to choose one of the elements to base my spells on in the game. I chose fire because I thought it was cool.
Therefore, I chose "FlameWizard" for the first bit because of my character.
Then I just pulled the "492" out of nowhere because I felt like I needed a random number to differentiate myself. It has no significance in my life. It's just random.
Also, for those of you who are wondering, you do pronounce the "492" in the name.

Now I just use it for a lot of my gaming accounts.

Also, if it's too much of a mouthful, you can just call me John.

Nutrit - It means to ‘to feed, nourish or provide food’ in Latin.

It’s been my nickname for ages and it was taken from one of Angelina Jolie’s tattoos with a Latin quote: “Quod me nutrit me destruit” which means ‘What nourishes me may also destroy me’.

It reminds me to be down to earth most of the times and to see things of how they really are.
