What's the current max range of an AspX?

Given the availability of the double-engineered class 5 FSD I'm curious, what is the current max jump range of an AspX with no shield or rover?

Can you get over 70 light years?

I have both shield and SRV in my AspX, it jumps over 70 LY.

Still an X ship, but yea - good catch 😂

but to not be completely off-topic, My Asp barely breaks 70.5ly in fully long range exploration outfit, but can be stripped a bit more.

My bubble taxi, also material gatherer and guardian guest, does 72.5
I think you're looking at the max range. I should have been clearer. I don't consider the "max" range to be all that important, because making use of it requires having less fuel in your fuel tank. I always look at the laden range.

yea, i'm well aware what max range is.

but, apparently Coriolis refused to save the upgraded value for optimal mass to simulate the fsd++ (aka the double engineered fsd)
no idea why, but had to swap some utilities around for it to save it, so yea - it appears now as 72.5 in the edited post

Edit: and no, i would not fly a shieldless AspX - it's brakes are notoriously weak and it's basically the only ship that i managed to faceplant and in a couple more occasions a last second boost saved me from embarrassment

lol I didn't suggest you weren't aware. I explained why I wasn't referring to it. Sheesh.

I look at laden range because that's the range the computer will consistently plot for you over a trip where you're actually doing something practical in the game.

I haven't had time to go buy one of the double-engineered FSDs. I guess I should before the 12th when the price goes up. I'm still wondering if we're talking about the same thing. Is the final jump range going to be 72.5?

you have to come up with what you understand with laden jumprange.
or you look at your current AspE build and add 15%.
to achieve "final jumprange" you'll take your current "final jumprange" and multiply by 1.15 .

e.g. my main accounts dbe has a max jumprange from 71.90, a unladen jumprange (without cargo, but fully fueled) of 66.98, and a laden jumprange (with cargo and fuel) of 66,65.
multiplying each of that numbers with 1.15 (as that one is nowhere near to get a new FSD, so will have an old one for some time) gives 82.69 - 77.03 - 76.65.

what your ships plotted jumprange is going to be, nobody knows without knowing your build, size of your fueltank, how many limpets or probes you might carrying etc.

Or you can manually edit the optimal mass of the 5A FSD to 1856.4 in Coriolis to match the one of the FSD++ with mass manager or 1785 without mass manager.
Usually coriolis is nice enough to save the value in the build, no idea why it didnt worked from me initially
