hello, i thought i have my own go at one of these spammy sorta threads, so here goes! what was the last thing you spent your hard earned cash on?

mine was a cola and a chicken&mayo sandwich for $5.50

With it being close to Christmas the bank account has been hit multiple times over the last few days. The most recent being Super Mario Galaxy for a 5 year old (was a toss between that and New Super Mario Bros).

Errmm, well... its a Go Go Hamster for my 6yr old daughter,,,,,:eek:

Before that though is was a R/C Helecopter for my 8yr old son....Kinda hoping he might go off that one in a couple of weeks :rolleyes:

Hi Geraldine,

Yep saw that as well, seems as if the Americans got a bit hot under the collar on that one and jumped the gun a bit....:rolleyes:

You'd probably have to eat the whole thing and have another one for afters before it'd have any affect. Couldn't manage more than 2 though.

(And my cooking's much more hazadous :eek:)

Is it just me or is it kind of dodgy that the OP (original poster) is selling Diet Pills in his sig?

I'm afraid my spending is reduced this Christmas - Got a wedding to pay for next year...

Ok, that one is clear adbot. Who else would have diet-pills ad in their signature?

Does seem a little strange, signature has been removed for now but until I get further clarification the user isn't genuine they'll remain registered.

Far too smooth, if you ask me. My favourite line is one I nicked from Han Solo. When the missus says "I love you", I say "I Know". That always gets a punch :D

Oh, and the last thing I purchased was a chicken tikka baguette and can of full-fat Coke from Greggs, for £2.89

That's about the right approach. It's natural that users having ad-links anywhere in their profile or posts, who also post vacuous, non-specific stuff or make such topics automatically trip my bot-alarms (as bots are getting "smarter" and less conspicuous), but it's still better to actually verify them, as false positives are possible.

The line from American Dad always makes me chuckle - "I remember when I first fell in love with me. That warm fuzzy feeling..." :)
