Both Attenborosaurus and Plesiosaurus are freaking small compared to Elasmosaurus, so your statement doesn't hold anything, it is a very different case with Struthiomimus and Archaeornithomimus which are around the same size, if you really want to follow the size with them it's

Because old content (and bad one at that) keeps new content out. Not so hard to understand. Blablamimus, the hybrids and Metriocanthosaurus for me are so bad I rather see anything else then them.

I can agree a bit on Archaeornithomimus and the other three hybrids not to be in the game, but the Indominus, Indoraptor, and Metriacanthosaurus are part of the Jurassic Park/World canon, so they are kinda obligated to be in the game.
I can understand not liking Archae. But Metri rocks!

But its a canon dinosaur, in the film Jurassic Park, it was originally supposed to be an attraction in Jurassic Park, but it only had 71% of its genome, until Nedry sabotaged the island. It also was an attraction at Jurassic World, until in 2018 it was subjected to cruelty and went extinct again, under unknown reasons. But the point is its a canon dinosaur, so its going to be in the game whether you like it or not.

It's the only Metriacanthosaurid in the game.
It was the only large carnivore from the Middle Jurassic in JWE1.
Its the smallest medium carnivore, it has a unique skull shape, it has a pretty nice skin pattern, etc
