What's wrong with this picture?

They were probably bored and then someone came up with the brilliant idea to attack themselves when nobody else would [hehe]. Perfect! I can think of a number of dictators who should have done that IRL.

LHS20 Organisation - Faction weekly summit

Right chaps, so the results from last weeks civil war are in, we lost I'm afraid but nothing really changed so I consider that a win...well done!

Now, the famine we planned next week has been put back due to a massive surplus of food and the outbreak we were hoping to unleash on the populace the following week won't be happening until next month now due the shipment of virus we ordered going...erm, well... missing.

As you know we use these totally natural disasters to keep the population in check.

Now...this does however present us with something of a problem, namely there are too many of us. Well....too many of you to be precise.

So to liven thing up we're going to employ some mercenaries to hunt you down arbitrarily. The good news is it's completely random so you all have an equal chance, the bad news is that it's unlikely any of you will make it out of the hangar alive.

So...best foot forwards, chin up and...oh yes please fill out these 'last will and testament' forms on your way out. Good Luck!

It seems pretty straight forward to me. Chief Haya Peck is an agent working undercover for the Nationalists of LHS 20 and 'now is the hour' to wipe that pesky LHS 20 Organisation off the map.

the issue with that: 80 bloody kills in a combat zone is massive workload.

It isn't (or at least wasn't, maybe that's changed). Get a turret laser on your boat, set to fire at will, locate your "bigger friend" npc anaconda/corvette/python/whatever bigger ship on your side, stick to their targets while at the same time painting everything with the turret. You will build a "murderball" out of you and npcs in no time and start slaughtering the opposite side. Try to fend off any danger to the bigger badder ship. If you yourself are in a murdervette or battleconda, don't get cocky and use your firepower to protect your murderwing. Every little eagle counts, because they draw fire which would otherwise be aggroed at you.

Sounds like someone needs to keep the wheels of war turning.

Did you take them up on it?

try that now...
you may succeed being the aggro target for all red ships in the zone, including the spec-ops ships with thermal shock and phasing lasers, enzymic missiles and other nice tools.

killing even an eagle takes time now, with all the HRPs they have fit.

Well isn't the definition of a civil war that you are shooting at your own people?

Good point.

Considering that their opponents - Eranin Industry - are also shooting at them (with massacre missions to that effect), I'd say the civil war is therefore going very well for them. :)
