What's your favorite cockpit design?

As title - for me it has to be Imperial Courier. Its the most unique one in my opinion, mostly thanks to cool canopy frames, very elegant and well designed.

Second one - also from Gutamaya, Imperial Cutter. It looks like you on on Enterprise space ship bridge, you feel the scale.

An intact one ;)

I have been exploring in an Anaconda for 6 months, and I've pretty much forgotten what all other cockpits look like. I do, however, miss being able to look down without rotating the ship or using the vanity camera, so I would probably pick the Asp or the transporters for the view.

From a VR perspective, T9 hands down, the sheer size of the bridge and sense of vertigo is hard to describe. Next is the Cobra, closest thing to sitting in the Millennium falcon. Pretty much all the bridges/cockpits in game have a very unique feel.

I do enjoy the FDL cockpit and being able to look behind and see the bridge in VR.

Any of the ships with more than one seat are the best to look at imho and I like the coffee machine and extras in many ships.

Cockpit customisation would be nice one day.

Now you think I'm just playing forum games here - but the point is this:
Having sensors and readouts for every thing is good.
Mastering the arcana of an ILS approach on this thing is a challenge. I wish the flying was this hard with the MMO overlay.
I wish the cockpits were as wildly different as this and the A-10 which fills a similar role.

I totally understand, I have a small wish for purchasable ship kits for interiors or even better - way you could customize your hud layout and such. I think this is why I like Courier so much, it looks drastically different from other designs.

That's a tough one.

In VR, I really love the Asp Explorer. Just such a huge, wide view. I think the T7 has the same thing. But I also really like Cutter's space, as you mentioned.

I like all of them, don't make me pick!

Surprising truth: The Beluga Liner is maybe the best interior in the game.

You have to see it in VR. Looks odd on a regular monitor, but looks like the deck of a luxury yacht in VR.

I'm still looking for the non-spill cup-holder in ANY of them.... :S

That said, just purchased an Anaconda and an Orca and I have to say I really like the view from the Orca.
