What's your longest SC to scan a body?

I'd like to think that 'there's always one further' in the interests of... well interest really, from what i gather hand made ones are the furthest (Hutton etc) but hope that there isn't a predefined (hard coded) cut off point for procedurally generated systems...

any devs reading this lemme know IF there is NOT WHAT IT IS.

That said, keep your journey's coming

0.46ly :)

Found two star systems unusually close to each other: only 0.46ly! And decided i will try to reach that nearby star by flying in supercruise. Took me few hours...

Yeah. I made that mistake, too. I can't remember how far it was, but I was trying to see if I could hyperspace beyond my jump range by shortening the distance in SC.

It didn't work :(

Yesterday I made a 518 kls run out to a brown dwarf just to get a tag. I don't have the exact location but it was somewhere in between Darwin's Research and Witch Head Research, just west of Col 70 region. Call it a warmup before I head back in to Hutton.

When I feel in the mood I have a habit of traveling to 500k+ LS to tag the objects there, and ignore the main star. Just to confuse other explorers :)

Have a peek at Sigma Orionis on your way back to the bubble... ;)
