What's your ping/packet loss/country

The networking stats can vary considerably from session to session depending on who you've been connected to and how loaded AWS has been.

Anyway, if I just long into the game and immediate check the networking settings...

Country: USA
Ping: ~175ms
Packet Loss: 0.0%
MTU: 1500

I've virtually never seen packet loss over 0.5%, but after a long session at odd hours my ping can register in the 500ms+ ballpark (though 200-300 is more typical), as I presumably get my CMDR instanced with many overseas players.

I also see a huge number of failed IPV4 connection attempts...something like 40-50% success rate is typical.

Causing lag to everyone should be banned for having a bad connection.
Region lock as well.

The game's matchmaking/instancing weight is already influenced by latency and location. While I'd hope any player do what they can to be good peers, it's up to Frontier to tune matchmaking parameters to ensure an acceptable experience.

The game also has fairly radical latency compensation, so it's often hard to percieve even significant latency without looking for certain anomalies.

Lol just noticed its a necro thread............ :(

Still could be relevant, especially to compare how figures have changed.

If anything, I'm noticing better pings but more rejected connections than before.
