when can i use supercruise again?

been stopped for scan of cargo, waiting till it says deteting scan and a little more. when activating supercruise again it takes the long approach, approx, 2 mins of charging time. is this forreal? i understand when i get stopped to get killed, but when can i supercruise fast again after a scan?

When you've moved far enough away from the ship(s) to not be mass locked.

When the scan is completed and you notice that the charging time is taking longer than usual, i would suggest that you manually cancel supercruise and engage it again. In most cases that works for me.

You do not even have to wait for a scan go to full power for engines then boost away at full speed , you can out run all the AI ships and go to super cruise as soon as you are out of range .

Don't even bother, as soon as you get interdicted, full pips to engine, boost away 2-3 times then straight back into super-cruise for minimal disruption from the interfering nosy gits!
