When/how do you get big ships in RES

I'm a bounty hunter so frequent a lot of high intensity res sites but so far haven't seen any pythons or anacondas
(apart from local security)

Is there a level or rank you need to get them to spawn or is it random ?

I think it is random or at least seems that way in ConZones.

Ive had Annie's spawn when I was in a Sidey and Eagles and Sideys spawn when I was in my viper.

Just exit and re-enter or save and quit then come back on and hopefully it'll of changed.

Frankly, I think there was a silent nerf several days ago. I'm not getting big spawns anymore. Only thing that's happening is little spawns that now ( which never happened before ) the occasional big ship flies in. Does anyone else see what I'm seeing? I can't explain it any other way. I should have kept my mouth shut on how much I was making :( and now with power play not working, it's killing my interest in turning Elite in :(

edir: also, the only time I had ever seen an anaconda in a RES was when I was in my Sidewinder and eagle. Ever since going to cobra and vulture I have never seen one. But the ither bigs ships worth 90k-220k I have seen. But like I said, I don't see these anymore since directly after maintenance the other day.

I think it makes sense if ConZones are where you see the bigger ships and RES smaller ones.

I don't really think someone coming to pirate my stuff should be in an Anaconda/Vulture etc or maybe it was a balance just to try and get ConZones going more?

I have had python clipper and drop ships appearig in RES when I was fighting smaller ships. The smaller ones give more reward then before. And I see more wings supporting eachother as they should. Feels like RES sites are starting to work as they should. I rarely use escape to menu to refresh the instance anymore.
I play mostly in SOLO mode so don't know if there's a difference from open.

I'll have to test some conflict zones and see my outcome

You can make some nice money in them if you get the right ships coming in!! 2-3mil an hour in some is quite doable, just remember to pick a faction and don't die before you hand in your bonds!!!!

I can get that on smal spawns at res sites. I used to pull 5mill an hour from big ship spawns a couple days ago at HIRES. But, it appears to have been nerfed during maintenance

This might be a really stupid question but how do I go about picking a faction? I currently didn't want to upset any faction so I have been trying to RES hunt with no allegiance. Is there much of a difference?

Secondly, what is a bond? :S

Thank you! :)

In your right hand panel on the last tab with the ship lights landing gear etc. at top of list, just use first panel to double dheck group allegiences, and combat bonds are bassically Merc pay for ship kill's better the bigger the ship. Cash them in in the contqcts section below the one fore fines & bounties.

Combat rank may play a role but ultimately it's random and this randomness is under the factor of two main variables : RES intensity and sector security.

The higher the RES intensity, the higher the chance of getting a great instance (which is big ships spawning regularly).

Same with sector security, the higher the security, the higher the chance of getting a great BH spot.

To be clear, when you enter the instance, a dice is rolled to determine the kind of spawn you're gonna get, which are basically of three possible types : only small ships, small ships mixed with big ships, and only big ships. Intensity (frequency of spawn) may be variable but I can't confirm that yet.

First off - I play in solo so it might be different in other modes.
In LHS 3505 at the HIGH RES close to Olivia station I made 6.6million from mixed spawns flying a vulture last night.
Similar reward I have gotten from RESes in Wolf 865.
Not sure how long time I spent but an estimate would be slightly more then 2 hours.
