probably fast tracking his entire 50 million "bonus" away.
Aye, 50 million is peanuts compared to my weekly earnings courtesy of rating 5. As they say, it takes money to make money.

If you want to use it for combat you're looking at around 400-500million.
I agree with EddyRockSteady. As a Vulture pilot, I find it to be the best pure-combat fighter, but a fully decked Warconda is the best combat vessel. It's virtually undefeatable by NPCs, even against elite wings. If you've got the credits, then it's really worthwhile.
And Behemoth it will be!I definitely expected that a python would be better than a conda for a long time. But I'd rather fly the suboptimal luxury ship that I can build into the behemoth.
You can get a half decent conda for PVE Res Farming for around 200m credits with a C rated power plant, A rated power distributer and frameshift drive and everything else around the D level except shields which can be around the C level. Stack on about 6 shield boosters and nothing is really going to get through unless you do something really stupid like take on 3 pythons... errrhummm....lol
Seriously tho, if you love your Vulture, try an FDL it will cost around 77m to get it A specd a bit more if you want the class 4PA. The FDL Its a lot more combat focused than the python and has awesome speed that can get you out of pretty much anything if things go bad. Yes I am biased towards the FDL, it flies a lot like the vulture (obviously not as maneuverable) and sounds freaking awesome, its like a sports car having unprotected sex with a tiger! but there is a lot of power management, just like in the vulture... . If you want to mix up some trading, then stick with the python, but thats going to cost you around 140-160m credits to get it up to full A spec, and is a lot slower than your used to.
I keep my conda for lazy RES farming and trading, and use my FDL for bounty hunting and fun. If your going to fly a FDL, make sure you manoeuvre with all pips to engines, and then when firing swap all pips to weapons. Dont put pips into shields unless your really low and need to make a retreat, but then only put 2 pips in there and everything else to engines.
Here are my builds.. the conda is a work in progress

omg, the FDL...After reading this thread, I'm tempted to try out the FDL. But I wouldn't use your configuration - too many power configuration problems. This configuration has stronger shields and useful fuel scoop. Really, an A1 fuel scoop isn't useful as it takes too long, causing the ship to heat up too much. I don't like getting interdicted by pirates while I'm overheated at a sun during refueling. Also, why would an FDL have a Cargo Scanner if it has no cargo racks? Better to use that utility slot for another Shield Booster.

When is an Anaconda better than a Vulture?
Rating two is not too shabby either, at least in A L-D control systems: All bounties are doubled and an additional 20% added to the result, also for non pledged players.Aye, 50 million is peanuts compared to my weekly earnings courtesy of rating 5. As they say, it takes money to make money.
omg, the FDL...
I have bought, sold, rebought and resold that ship too many times wanting to like it. 'nuff said.
My beef? Hardpoint loadout and power management and lack of compartments and.. well, you get the jist of it.
