Where can I purchase a Scorpion in Odyssey?

Searching High Tech military systems but so far no joy.
Maybe just go to Jameson's Memorial?

UPDATE: Purchased the Scorpion at Jameson's but more comments worth looking at this thread.

Not sure it's only ground bases but I got mine from one. Couldn't be bothered to look for multi-limpet controllers & just went to founders for those so I could see all the options.

I tried a military planetside port but guess that it was more an on-foot combat location without any outfitting. Probably better to go to Founders to see all the new toys.

I'm at Jameson's and purchased the Scorpion then went to the Livery in game. But someone turned off all the lights in the hangar! I had to go to the Elite Store with better lighting. I purchased the midnight black in case they drop it and next time purchasing it at Thanksgiving 2022. Then a blue and a green. But none match my Krait Mk II Precision Blue paint job. Not to worry Frontier knowing that I will pay for it will post it later.

Meanwhile Frontier turn on the hangar lights!

The Multi-Limpet controller options?

Mining
Search and Rescue
Salvage and Data Recovery
Non-Human Encounters
All available Limpet types (does that include hatch breakers and ship repair)

Awaiting limpet experts to play with all of these new toys then post on YouTube.

Military economy ports are always planetside.

Jameson stocks it.
I just went on eddb and searched for stations with a military economy. I ended up buying my Scorpion at Fortress York in Facece. It wasn't planetside. It was on a station.
This one.

Plenty of military economy stations out there in space; there's even a unique skin for military-economy space outposts.

Honestly, I had a look at all the new limpet controllers and then I just figured that my existing ships all work as they are so there's no point in monkeying around with the new stuff.

The one configuration I would have liked would be a limpet controller with some cargo capacity built-in too.
Even if it was a 1D limpet controller with 2t of cargo capacity, it'd be ideal for bunging in an exploration ship.

I definitely have some fits that could do with a MLC... mostly for uss hunting.

Me using collector limpets in a Dolphin designed to efficiently gather HGEs works pretty good. These new limpets? We'll see...

No-one needs a c7 - that's module is bait for people who want to build a swiss-army-ship :)

But for S&R USS where you might need to refuel / repair / etc then a size 3 MLC will enable small ships - we don't all want to use Panther Clippers for S&R ;)
They are too heavy honestly. They cost my pirate Phantom 3 ly jump range.
Lighter ships are even more punished.

Fair comment.
It's a bit of a shame that the gameplay associated with that doesn't really go anywhere, though.

I guess it might be nice to be able to repair/refuel any stricken ships that I encounter but I'm not going to compromise an existing ship just for the sake of that, unless there was a good reason for it.

What do you two need a c7 for that?

I usually use a 1D or 3D collector for USS hunting 🤷‍♂️

This one.

I have a Krait that is a multipurpose mission/ scenario boat; it picks up scenario uss wherever it can which includes repair and refuel, while hatchbreaking is for hijack missions.

Due to slot restrictions, I've always had to split hatchbreaking from the S&R functions into two builds. Now i can lump it all in one C3 slot. Sure, it's heavy, but i don't need to go more than one 20Ly jump away, otherwise I'm affecting factions/systems i don't particularly care about.

Tl;dr i now have up to two additional slots for some defensive buffer or more cargo, likely the former though.
