The game places Isla Nublar next to the five deaths. The archipelago wraps around the one side of Isla Nublar. I just finished The Lost World (because they are all on Netflix ;-) and towards the beginning a map of the islands is shown hanging up and is framed. The map shows Las Cinco Muertes off the coast of Costa Rica, but there is no Isla Nublar anywhere on the map. So where is Isla Nublar exactly located?

In Michael Crichton's head. There is no island, not even a speck of one, anywhere near the supposed location (Isla del Coco is not even close). So you can imagine it to be anywhere you like and be as close to its "real" location as anywhere.

Its fictional. But lore says it's 120 miles off the Coast of Costa Rica. When I was a kid I would look at maps hoping to see Isla Nublar, this was after the movie came out.
This is the island Crichton supposedly got the idea for Isla Nublar from. It's an actual island off of Costa Rica and it's designated as a National Park. It's called Cocos Island.

Isla Nublar isn't supposed to be next to the 5 deaths. It's just on the map there for convenience, kinda like how Alaska and Hawaii are usually in the corner of a map of the USA. Nublar is 87 miles northeast of Sorna and the five deaths.
Yeah, that's why Nublar is in a box next to the Las Cinco Muertas, it's a disconnected but related place to what you're doing, so it's put there for ease of mapping.
For the record Nublar is NOT a member of Las Cinco Muertas, which makes sense because the map including nublar is 6 islands not 5. and it's Las CINCO (5) Muertas not Seis (6)

I never said it was. I said it was 120 miles, I was wrong it is actually 127 miles. But I never said it was right next to the five deaths.
