So i paid a (almost 2x) premium to test their Alpha for them, with no thanks or reward whatsoever? I mean at least before early adopters got the ship. I thought somewhere it said we would get a unique suit or something too or is that still a thing (I just have to buy it again)?.
Pretty disapointing to be honest. Or do they think it so mighty that we would happily give an extra 20 euros or whatever it was, just for the honour of being their lab rats?
..Which technically we still are as all i still just see a "kind of beta". Or do you know if all the extra money we spent is a season pass or whatever?

In Alpha you had a copy of your main account.
On release you just played on with your real main account.
It has always been that way and always will be.
That's what they explained to us was going to happen. And that's how test servers always work, in this and every other persistent online game out there. Your "reward" for buying alpha access was that you got to try the new features before anyone else.
That and a set of free cosmetics for your space suits.

Firstly I can't be arxed doing euro conversions for you too but Odyssey cost £30, or £40 with alpha access i.e. an extra tenner, so hardy a '2x premium' unless maths works very differently where you are. I would also point out that it's usually a good idea to check what you're buying before you buy it, as it was all explained very clearly.Ah ok

Following on from that, pre-orders (either with or without alpha access) got the pioneer skin, which is a skin for whatever suits you may acquire in game. It is not an actual suit.
As has already been pointed out, anything that you bought during alpha access in-game was lost when the alpha ended. This is the way that all previous alphas and betas have worked for this game.
Yes i know it was. Fair enough, although i thought the Oddessy stuff would have been merged back as i am sure at one point they were promising unique things.
Still did not a answer my question though. What do i get for paying 55 euros (or whatever it was) rather than 35?

Looking back i see it was actually 10 euros different. So humble pie on that one
but it is still roughly a third of the price again.

Perhaps you should have asked that before paying 55 euros (or whatever it was).
I hadn't been following it closely, got alpha due to having a LEP. I have a suite customisation kit unlocked though (Pioneer?), one that can be used for all, so maybe that was what they referred to?

.. I really I seem to remember somewhere (either steam or frontier) saying you get the Maverick Suit but whatever, could be wrong or have completely misunderstood. Well ill give it another try when it finally gets to "release" proper
