Where is the Alliance capital ship? and powerplay related Combat Zones

Honest question, isn't it time for The Alliance to have one as they are becoming (already are ) a force in the galaxy? My suggestion is that you have Lakon design the ship with everything that is Lakon, huge canopy and spoilers.

For the other part i want you to know that you did a great job for the combat zones relating to BGS but can we perhaps have something similar to the powerplay related combat zones as well? Im thinking of all the combat based expansions. It is my belief that those expansions would become much more dynamic and fun to be in if they had similar mechanics as BGS combat zones.

I assume that the Alliance doesn't feel like paying for giant battleships that have limited tactical advantages but look impressive. Then again, I assumed that the Alliance didn't need their own military ships. Some capital ship wrecks in the Pleiades region show that they are not so great combating Thargoids, the reason why the T-10 and Chieftain, Crusader or Challenger were created.

I think Alliance capital ships would look like heavily armed megaships, I would like to see those jump in game.

Canonically the Alliance doesn't have a own Navy. If they go to war, they usally just pull in the fleets of their members and put them under control of a special military command. Thus it doesn't really make sense for Capital Ships to exists, since small singular governments don't have the resources to build and maintain them. And so far it doesn't seem like, that they will start taxing their members to fund such projects.

They do have an alliance fleet to defend their member systems tactically wouldn't it make sense to have such large capital ships?

The standing force is also just stuff the members had to contribute by themselves. So no this military force also doesn't have any budget to create capital ships. I suggest listening to the Codex entry about alliance military as it gets explained there.

I did read a lot about them but i'll make sure to check out the codex. Thank you.

I would personally not have a problem with Expansions mirroring the BGS, e.g. you Expand/Oppose by doing Missions (as previously outlined by FDev) and/or fighting in Powerplay Strike Zones/CZs using the new BGS CZ mechanic. It would mitigate issues such as AFK turret boating imho.

I'll agree if only because the Alliance needs a lot of "flavor". It is supposed to be the 3rd largest superpower made up with chunks of different types of systems and governments, from feudal to communist, working together somehow. It should be the most diverse superpower of all the powers and it should have a power for each kind of goverment or for the council of admirals (if not one for each of them). Instead they have the generic Mahon, probably the worst power-specific weapon in the whole game and a "nothing ever happens" list of events.

So yeah, give them a light capital, like a Corvette , a Frigate or something like that.

this is something i get behind the original lore of the Alliance is so much cooler, with being kinda allied to the thargoids after providing them with the vaccine. I mean they still got their hands on a thargoid-vessel according to codex, but previously they were handed one as thanks for saving the thargoid race... Alliance need way more internal struggle in my eyes it is high time for the cracks that the codex is speculating about to start showing and maybe allow us as independent pilots to push it in a new direction... i mean the last election story was a joke.
